NANCY Live returns to We Are The Brave with her 'Convolution EP'. Renowned for her skills in the studio, the UK live-act expertly crafts melodies with her analog hardware for an EP which is primed for the return of the dance-floor. 

On ‘Convolution’ NANCY channels a gritty warehouse energy, deploying her drum machines and haunting synths to create a brutal rolling bass-line. 

Keeping it fast paced, ‘HACID’ is all about the ravers. The artist carves her energetic rhythm by layering ‘purposefully distorted’ old school sounds and etheric synths over a huge rave lead line. This is NANCY Live in her prime; raw melodic rhythm and lots of drums.

Christian Smith is back on his own label for another strong release. 'Let Yourself Go' has his trademark party techno vibe. Lots of energy while staying true to his roots. 'Atmosphere' is a melodic affair that focuses on a warm analog bassline while keeping the traditional Tronic vibe. Christian also included a more stripped-down version of 'Let Yourself Go' and an electro mix of 'Atmosphere'.

With his second studio long player ‘Anatomy Of A Drum Machine’ due for release on Kneaded Pains later this year, the seasoned DJ/producer Harvey McKay fires out another prequel single, with ‘Glasgow Kiss’.

A menacing tone is set on the lead track, as haunting and tense strings hang over a punishing drum workout and a regimented modular synth refrain that swells with intensity.

Dark synth influences can be heard on ‘Milk Snatcher’, as McKay carves out an industrious and enigmatic track that owes as much to the 1980’s electronic pioneers as it does to the modern-day techno sound.  A powerful cut here from the Glaswegian producer, and a great taster for his upcoming new album.

Barcelona based DJ and producer Bastian Bux has been firing out exemplary releases for labels like Sven Vath's Cocoon Recordings, Bedrock, MOOD, Suara, Tronic, and a whole host more over the last five years, and on the 'Outliers' EP, he cues up a trio of techno heaters for Eats Everything and Andres Campo's EI8HT imprint.

Released in July of 2021, Dubfire’s ‘Sound Bath’ offered up a minimal and stripped back production, teasing with its metallic, fissured tones and percussive loops.  The man behind huge singles like ‘Ribcage’, ‘Roadkill’ and his own SCI+TEC label delivered another gem into the Kneaded Pains catalogue.
 
New remixes surface for 2022, with Luciid stepping up to the mantle with an intoxicating and industrious version.
