Rolling out another indispensable album of new techno bangers, Kneaded Pains presents KPAINS4, a multi artist compilation album shining the spotlight on some of the electronic music scene’s most exciting up and coming talent.

Highlights on the fourth instalment of the KPAINS series includes a rollicking remix from Gaston Zani of Dense & Pika’s ‘Neon’, a downright dirty breakbeat slammer from Lazy Ants & Phra, the euphoric ‘Hacklyn’ from Germany’s Tallmen 785, and an acidic burner from Gianni Di Bernando.

I AM BAM, the Italian born DJ & producer now based in Berlin, delivers up a pumping four track release on Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains.

The Italian producer clocked up releases for Arts, Suara, Octopus Records, Planet Rhythm amongst others, and on the ‘Pill Trip’ EP, I AM BAM serves up some annihilating rhythms and weighty techno chops across four cuts, culminating in intensity and the dark velocity of the title track ‘Pill Trip’.

Gaston Zani tees up a new single for Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains label, having been an ever-present figure in the techno fraternity these last few years, producing and releasing on his own we(R)aw imprint, Carl Cox’s Intec, Eats Everything’s EI8HT, We Are The Brave and Suara, to name but a few.

A pair of techno bangers are served up on the ‘Berserker’ single, with the title track sprinting out of the blocks with absolute resolute.  Whipping hi-hats and cracking percussion tear through the colossal and hypnotising production for some raw, peak time action!

On ‘A.G.S.’, Zani deploys beating 909 drums and synth tones that play out an off-kilter melody, as tension building white noise induces an intensity to this funky club cut.

Rising Italian DJ & producer Hollen makes a real splash with his debut release for Eats Everything & Andres Campo’s EI8HT label.  The ‘Dance With The Groove’ EP features four slammers of the highest order.

Having chalked up releases for labels like Intec, Smart Lab Music and Prospect Records, as well as support from fellow DJs like Lily Palmer, Pan Pot, Joseph Capriati and Chris Liebing amongst others.

‘Dance With The Groove’ opens up this solid EP, laying down a hypnotising vocal hook over precision beats and a funky rhythm, whilst ‘Basement’ serves up cyclical motifs and brain scrambling tones for a proper techno bomb!

With a tight production sound and infectious groove, Hollen keeps up the pressure with ‘Trippin’ and ‘Totem’ to round off a super debut for the EI8HT imprint.

The ‘Synaptic Transmission’ EP lands on Dense & Pika’s imprint and pulls together three new tracks of hypnotic and raw techno.

With previous releases for labels like Second State, Hydrozoa and Terminal M amongst others, The Reason Y dispatches a trio of sophisticated and deep cuts for the discerning techno lovers!
