The boys from Colombia are back on Transmit Recordings with a two-track rocking EP. Side A features the ''Moorfields'' which is a cross between Techno and Tech House that is an instant dancefloor killer. Side B features 'City Road' a cut that has more of that darkroom techno feel to it, but yet has the groove and energy for a variety of audiences. Both tracks will rock a crowd.

We're back with another installment of our Re-Transmit series as we feature a world-known superstar, Method Man, a member of one of the biggest hip-hop groups in WuTang Clan as he teams up with another legend that is Anthony Acid with their mega tune 'Hit & Throw' featuring 2021 remixes by label boss Boris and one of groovy techno's giants, Carlo Lio.

Boris' remix gives the original a fresh new sound that's meant for your peak night sets and is purely a dancefloor banger! Carlo's interpretation comes with a unique, dark Techno groove that only Rawthentic's head honcho can do. A massive release on Transmit with four artists that have been a staple in the industry for years.

James Welsh has been firing out certified dance bangers for what seems like eons. Delivered with the maturity and finesse that has made him a regular artist on labels like Erol Alkan’s Phantasy Sound, Hypercolour, Hotflush, Futureboogie, and of course, Kneaded Pains, Welsh tees up two tracks on the ‘Man & Minion’ single.
 
The title track straddles the fence of slammin’ house and rolling techno, squeezing a familiar disco vocal line into a bustling and hard-hitting groove.  Similarly, ‘Big Lanyard’ delivers the bassline funk and swing typical of those deeper four to the floor moments, but with the stabby punch and intensity of a big room belter.

Spanish DJ/producer Pablo Say has impressed already with a strong of quality techno flavoured releases for labels such as Codex Recordings, Unrilis and Numen.  On the ‘Freak Out’ EP, a trio of tight and utilitarian tracks are served up on Eats Everything & Andres Campo’s EI8HT imprint.

A hustling groove is set on ‘Freak Out’, as a taut bassline and steely hats propels this stabby banger forth, its vocal motif perforating the vigorous arrangement.  ‘Light On’ is built upon a similar aesthetic, as surging FX’d synths inject into an industrious vox lead cut.  Concluding the release, ‘Ninja’ fires out of the starting blocks in earnest, as a distorted melody line couples up with an unfurling modular riff, anchored by another top-drawer rhythm and arrangement.

The man behind huge singles like ‘Ribcage’, ‘Roadkill’ and his own SCI+TEC label delivered another gem into the Kneaded Pains catalogue.
 
New remixes surface for 2022, with Luciid stepping up to the mantle with an intoxicating and industrious version.  Having already delivered recent bangers for Kneaded Pains, Infamia Records and Autektone Records, the hotly tipped producer from the North of Ireland goes in deep with a wall shaking, bass bin shattering remix of ‘Sound Bath’.

Launched back in 2019, the EI8HT imprint saw the collaboration between long-time friends and DJ partners, Eats Everything and Andres Campo, with a remit to push forward thinking techno music that transcends through soulful and emotive electronics, to high energy groove-laden club tracks.

Nearly three years on, and the label continues to stick to its ethos, and via a steady stream of well received releases, have built up a global reputation for quality tunes, and a burgeoning roster of artists.  Distinguished producers such as Truncate, Black Girl / White Girl, Drumcomplex, Gaston Zani and Ackermann & Michael Klein have all delivered pure bangers for EI8HT, alongside releases from the head honchos Eats Everything and Andres Campo themselves. 

A new subsidiary label for 2022 is the latest string to the duo’s bow, and the inaugural release on the EI8HT+ label comes in the form of an epic Andres Campo remix of Better Lost Than Stupid’s ‘Inside’.   The original mix, by the electronic supergroup made up of Davide Squillace, Matthias Tanzmann and Martin Buttrich, came out on the Skint Records released ‘Wild Slide’ album in 2019.

The new imprint has been set up for special projects, remix ventures and unique collaborations.  Andres Campo explains that “EI8HT+ is a door, a necessary door, where Dan AKA Eats Everything, and I, can give way to other musical projects and concerns that are a bit far from EI8HT main vibe, a place with no tags, but a door to creativity”.  Dan Pearce adds that “EI8HT+ was created by Andres and myself to access a wider scope of the music we are into and make, be that remixes of tracks we love, remakes of old tracks or stuff that is too out there for the EI8HT sound.  Expect anything and everything, except what you’d expect”
