DJ, producer, promoter, composer, and cultural agitator Man Power makes his debut on Radio Slave’s Rekids with ‘We Trawl The Hurts’ featuring Louisahhh on 12th April. The first fruits of a long-term friendship see Man Power (Me Me Me/Throne of Blood/Optimo) serving up a stomping, big-room cut that tips its hat to late-90s NY house and serves as a bed for the inimitable Louisahhh’s (RAAR) breathy vocal delivery of classic Prefab Sprout lyrics.

“I realised that I never set out to make a "Banger", so I started sharing daily WIPs on Twitter/X of me attempting to do so, with notes on why I'd made certain decisions or changed certain things. The results were a shock and it felt like I'd managed to do what I set out to do, but I felt it needed an additional element. I've wanted to do something with Louisahhh for forever and the idea of asking her to cover that as a vocal element just arrived in my head fully formed. It's one of the few occasions making music where I've had an idea and the execution has turned out exactly as it was in my head when I first thought of it” - Man Power

An intimate, spoken-word vocal from Louisahh weaves through a world of vibrant pads and chords. The gorgeous lyricism of their ‘We Trawl The Hurts’ is underpinned by an uplifting and emotive swirl of melody and a rock-steady beat. Man Power’s love of Murk and Tenaglia shines through.

The evergreen Deetron delivers three versions of ‘We Trawl The Hurt’s ft Louisahhh’: a remix that flips the original into a thumping deep techno cut featuring loopy synths and pixelated leads, a stripped-back and powerful dub, and his DJ tool ‘drum and bass’, built for those who like to mix.

Kneaded Pains regular Risa Taniguchi returns to Dense & Pika’s imprint with a mighty three tracker on the ‘B-movie’ EP, which sees the Japanese artist lay down her unique style of techno.

Since bursting onto the circuit, Risa has released on some of the most respected labels within the techno scene, with the likes of TREGAMBE, CLR, Octopus Recordings, Gem Recordings and Second State, to name a few.

Three experimental cuts are served up on the ‘B-movie’ EP; expect to hear deep and dark techno with hypnotic acid tones.

French DJ/producer Povoa lands on Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains label with a new two-track single, 'Think What'.

Povoa's productions have found homes on labels such as Moshi Moshi, Sven Vath's Cocoon Recordings and Fatboy Slim's Southern Fried, and the talented producer is also notably the driving force behind the powerhouse trio PPJ, whose sensational festival anthem 'Primavera' propelled them into the spotlight.

Povoa presents two energetic tracks on the ‘Think What’ single, each one built upon irresistible funky jacking grooves that will fire up any discerning dancefloor.

Following on from the special release of Robert Hood and Femi Kuti's live jazz set "Variations", Robert Hood delivers his latest Techno EP for M-Plant.  This is the first new solo music from him since 2022's "Hectic / Amazon Dust" double-header.  

Although Robert Hood should need little introduction, with his and his daughter, Lyric's Floorplan moniker riding high with a new album forthcoming on Classic, his Techno legacy should not be forgotten.  Throughout the '90s, he helped pave the way for Techno to flourish — giving birth to minimal techno with his seminal album "Minimal Nation".  Since then, he has been consistently forwarding electronic music culture with ground-breaking productions, sensational performances and his M-Plant label.  His style is characterised by minimalist and experimental tones with an assertive groove.  

His "Alpha Key EP" features four driving cuts of characteristically Hood music that prove when it comes to Techno, he's still a high-ranking master.  The EP is out on vinyl and digitally 12 April.

Jeton is celebrating a milestone: 15 years and 200 releases. The label, founded by Ferhat Albayrak in 2009 and based in Istanbul, reflects the meeting culture of East and West in Istanbul for centuries. For years, it has been a base for upcoming new breeds, as well as a respected regular place for artists. From the dawn of time, it has been only Techno, with at least one release per month for 15 years in a row. Now, Jeton has become a place that few imprints can reach, with a monument of sustainability for years.

JET200 is an 8-track celebration from our best artists, colleagues, and friends, reflecting our approach to the future. Jeton has also become the biggest Techno promoter in its region, by serving the best possible music and atmosphere available globally. The 15-year celebrations will be started in Istanbul end of summer with great events.

We would like to thank all our fans, artists, collaborators, co-partners, and contributors for being with us for all 15 years. Without you, this journey could not have happened.
