Rafa'EL and Carsten Halm join forces for their first collaboration ever with 'Atlantis Flower'. The track embodies perfectly the vision of the two men, with a sound that transitions from progressive into the realm of melodic techno in the stripped-down dark drop. The record, produced by the seasoned producers who've released on the likes of Traum, Parquet and Mango as well as Strange Town, showcases airs of grandeur with its ethereal voices and uplifting melodies.

Delivering the first remix are Canadian duo Executive Producer which have been featured on the imprint previously with their blissful track 'Trust X Love'. The pair offer a more laid-back take on the production, with a powerful bass growling under the main arp's evolution. The first half of the song leads into a complete die down before its slow resurrection into the second part.

Finally, Strange Town's own Wolf Ear & Fassbender offer an eerie take on the composition. With its crispy industrial textures and high-speed melodies in the build, the remix is sure to make heads turn.

Steve Lawler creates an anthem for our times in his long-awaited debut for Truesoul.

Steve Lawler first released on one of Adam Beyer’s imprints back in 2008, dropping the minimal-tinged ‘Doves / Chalkee’ on Drumcode, a collaboration with fellow Brit Alex Tepper. Yet despite the groove-orientated vibes of his sound, ‘People’ marks his debut on DC’s little brother imprint Truesoul. 

Lawler’s created a powerful hymn about the state of the world, linking up with Lisbon’s MC Johnny Def whose stirring vocal combines masterfully with a catchy two-note synth loop and driving percussion, building to an uplifting crescendo. The functional package also includes a Dub Mix of ‘People’, offering up a crunchy, tweaked out tech version, alongside an Acapella.

Lawler explains about ‘People’, “This track was written because of what I see and hear around the world on a daily basis now - the fighting, racism, sexism, terrorism. As a father it scares the hell out of me. I had to write something, but never knew how to do it without making a depressing record. So, this is my attempt to make something beautiful, but with the message I wanted.”

Following a recent killer release on Drumcode, Dutch-Chilean techno producer Ramon Tapia returns to his own imprint, Say What?, with the 'Last Step'.

The three-tracker features two originals and a Nicolas Taboada remix — all tunes are soaked in Tapia's trademark dancefloor-ready sound.

The title track opens the release and sets the mood just right with its powerful kickdrums, dark synths and hypnotising percussions. Up next, 'Plastik' picks things where 'Last Step' left off to enchant us with its deep sound, rich atmospheres and angelic vocals. Last but not least, the Nicolas Taboada remix gives 'Plastik' a darker twist, making it the perfect peak-time dancefloor weapon.
