Today, we present the new release on Marguerite's catalogue, by Harlem Electronics. CAGEY is a punchy cocktail of sly bass hooks, raw machine grooves, and found sounds, all tied together by vocals that shape-shift from staccato statements to haunted murmurs and back again. Featuring six tracks including a remix by Colombian producer Filmmaker. The opener Cagey is one that we premiere today; Cagey sets the tone with an elastic, Liaisons Dangereuses-esque bassline coiling around its tail and a propulsive electro beat juxtaposed with the track's cadenced vocals.

Après l’introspection de "Waiting for the Message" (2024), je reviens avec "Waiting", un rework audacieux de ce projet qui m’a tant marqué. Cet EP incarne une évolution artistique, une exploration renouvelée des sonorités et des émotions qui traversaient l'œuvre originale.

"Waiting" propose une immersion dans un univers sonore réinventé, tout en préservant l’âme de l’EP initial. Chaque piste est une relecture où les textures ont été affinées, les rythmes revisités et les émotions amplifiées. En plus des reworks, l’EP inclut un remix captivant d’un autre artiste talentueux, Avy Anova, offrant une perspective fraîche et surprenante qui complète parfaitement l'ensemble.

Ce projet est né du besoin de réexaminer le passé pour avancer, une ode à l'attente comme processus créatif et transformationnel. "Waiting" s’adresse à ceux qui cherchent des sonorités authentiques et un récit sonore à la fois intime et universel.

Veyl presents 'Nuit' - a split-EP between two excellent projects we're enraptured to share with you. Both hailing from France, Blind Delon (Toulouse) and Contre Soirée (Paris) share a similar vision, bringing music from before any of their birth dates into the world of today.

Dedicating their sound to cold bass lines and synthesizers, the 80s, french post-punk and black romanticism, both acts spent their nights observing, describing, thinking, crying, each in their own way. Building a bridge between the melancholy and urgency defining that era, ’Nuit' is the fruit of this labour and will be out on January 25th.
