It is with the greatest of pleasure that at long last I get to share with you an album literally four years in the making. That's right, this is one of the very first projects I began waaaaaay back when I (hi, Saiyan here) took on the job of running KFA. 

So what the heck took so long? It's a 12 track album, it shouldn't take THAT long, right?

Those are, as the kids say, famous last words.  

The concept for this album was a simple one. It was supposed to be a KFA answer to Vinyl Is Better, with the name being a cheeky play on the title of that series. It was meant to feature half in-house KF artists, half guests. Which it actually did end up being in the end, more by chance than anything else. 

As time went on, things just kept going wrong. Tracks were needed to fill out other projects, certain material no longer fit in with the rest of the album (and so got moved elsewhere), a guest artist or two initially committed and then pulled out, I went a little (more than a little) crazy for a bit, it was....a lot. 

But all that's over now! It's done, printed, in-hand at KFHQ, and ready to ship out on its release date. When is that? NEVER. 

Kidding. It's September 23rd.

These incredible remixes come in and tear the whole place up! Blame brings his classic old school sound to his remix, combining his huge talent for melody with rough bass and breaks. Birchy is a relative newcomer to the Kniteforce label, although his previous release (KF266) that played with the Terminator theme tune was a big seller. It's not overly surprising, as Birchy may be new to the label, and a new name to many old skool heads, but he is an experienced producer who has been around for decades, with releases spread far and wide...

This EP samples the classic news broadcast surrounding the famous Castle Morton event in the UK, and the whole EP is deeply old skool and classic in feel. Full on breakbeats, pianos and authentic rave sounds are the name of the game here, and Birchy creates a timless feel to all of it!
