Sathya Narayanan, popularly known by his alter ego alais- SATTY has made the rounds in the music circles from his teen years. A keen interest in the arts and experimental sounds paved his path to understanding sounds and production. Seeking to learn the fable behind the making of these sounds, his passion took him to a different city to learn the intricate workings of the realm he holds closest to his heart. 

The DJing and music production course from #TheMusicScool in Bengaluru was the turning point in his life. The imploring love for music along with a deeply enigmatic personality put him on the books of all production houses in the city of Chennai. 

#THE SOUND 

Diverse affinity to sound allows Satty to be deliver versatile performances, free flowing elements are a characteristic of his musical relief. A range of deep house, House, Disco, Afro house, JACKIN HOUSE & Minimal house music Breaks and Techno. No matter the style, the impact that his hands create behind the console leaves an indelible mark in the minds of the listener. 

The evolutionary urge to explore runs high here. Satty’s other project SATYA NARAYAN is also accomplished in the psychedelic trance movement. Trance dance music, Full- on tunes, Twilight Trance, Dark Prog and novel Psy-bient music with a hint of airy electrical implementation marks his niche in Psy-Trance. 

Distinctive melodies that thread through the transitions of his mixes and melodies that capture the heart of his audience are for him, what creates a strong connection with the dance floor. The drive to send the crowd home with a lasting experience, ensures that the melodies are worthy of some groovy dance moves slowly metamorphosing into a high energy- powered environment. A melodic dance wave that takes over the dance floor with idealistic sounds with a marriage of smooth unconfined sounds is a defining ambience of Satty’s set.
