The Utrecht based producer has always touched on hip hop, jungle, neo-soul and dubstep (he even went to live in Croydon as a kind of pilgrimage to the sound’s home), as well as sounds form the Indian subcontinent. He has an unusual facility for making even the most obviously electronic tones sound acoustic, and then placing them alongside “real’ notes.
