QISIS & Daylite make up the phenomenal female power group titled F.A.L standing for Fly Assertive Ladies. The two girls met on their first day of high school in 2003, and they've been best friends ever since. QISIS grew up writing songs and playing the piano in recitals and the like making her ear for music ideal in the group. Daylite grew up writing poetry and lyrics always trying to think outside the box. In 2008 Daylite experimented with music and rightfully named her mixtape "The Experiment" under the artist name Deezy. QISIS surprised her by featuring on several of the tracks, including one entitled "Fly Ass Lady". This name stuck with the young women and they began referring to themselves as 'fly ass ladies'. QISIS moved to New Orleans for school and Deezy stopped pursuing music although both continued to write and develop their relationship/and talents. In 2013 QISIS returned and the women renamed themselves the "Fly Assertive Ladies" They are now working on their first joint venture together, an EP titled LionIsis. They're doing shows across the Bayarea and features as well.

DayLite is an emerging Positive Hip-hop artist and Poet coming out of Vallejo CA. One of the few women bold enough to take on this industry she stays true to herself while spitting tight lyrics with a deep message. Her music is both spiritual and catchy, providing listeners with a variety of songs that will fit each mood differently. DayLite has been performing all over the greater Bay Area including many festivals and concerts and recently was awarded a Bronze Medal at the Global Music Awards for her music video Granite. Her latest release is titled Drunken Master and you can stream it on all platforms.
