Takeez is the oldest of three children and was born and raised in small town Lawton Oklahoma where he honed his skills of rhyme and rhythm. After singing for almost ten years, in 2010 he picked up themicrophone in a new way, and became a Hip Hop artist. As he started to get a buzz around his hometown he released his debut rap mix-tape on march 31st of 2011. The mix-tape was titled "Controversial Controversy" and did well in viral blogs and created a nice tone to his future endeavors as a Hip Hop artist. He later went on to drop 4 more mixtapes, each one making him more and more of a force in the underground hip hop circuit. In 2016 on March 7th Takeez dropped his first debut singles titled "Stokely Carmichael" and "Lets Eat" on all platforms. He later dropped his first full length highly anticipated LP  "Shorty Duece"  in 2020. Take hard hitting punch lines, a smooth poetic delivery, and 12 inch nails and pack it all into one small town kid, and you have keez. From battling in a league of animals in the Oklahoma City proving grounds by the name of "School of Thought",  to touring with his DJ on one of Hip Hop's biggest tours ever, MGK and Tech Nyne's Hostile Takeover Tour in 2012...to working on his debut EP “WiseSpoken 2 “ , which has dropped a bomb on 2016 and continues to show force in 2024 with the April release of the third installment of the series, “WiseSpoken III”. Haling From Oklahoma there is a storm brewing and shelter is not looking too feasible.  Don't blink or you might miss one of the most promising emcee's to ever come out of the southwest.

Steven "Knuckles" Nuckolls, born June 9th 1981 at Reynolds army hospital in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. He grew up in Lawton spending time between his parents' home in the trailer park and his grandma's house on the south side. He grabbed onto the street mentality and rap music at an early age. As a teen he became involved with drugs and drug dealing. At the age of 21 he was arrested and served 5 years in prison on 2 seperate cases. since being released in 2008 he has turned his life from guns and drugs to seriously making rap music, taking his street name Knuckles to be his stage name. He writes and freestyles and enjoys all aspects of the genre. Some of his songs are written from life experiences and are from the heart, some are built off of wordplay and metaphors, while others are simply for the love of rap. He has been rapping since his early teens and has started taking steps into the industry through the persuasive talk of some of his family members who convinced him to take his music seriously.

What’s up world? It’s ya boy Knuckles. I love to rap. I write different music at different times. Some rhymes I write with feelings because what is behind the song is important to my life. Sometimes I write music because the rhymes are hot. Sometimes when I freestyle I use excessive cursing and I may talk about crazy stuff. To me this is all rap. All aspects of rap are important to me. Some things I say in my songs are true to life and some are just rap. Yes, I have felonies. Yes, I did time. I was raised in L-town. I am a man who can stand on his own two feet. I am a lot of things and I write from the heart. You don’t like my music? Fine, keep moving. You’re a fan? Let me know about it. I said it once I will say it again. I love to rap.
