For our next session FloFilz (@FloFills) mixed up a vinyl gem selection for us. The born and bred German beats genius has been making quite a name for himself with his unique "Jazz sample based Oldschool shit", how he calls it. But his selection is broad and ranges from Hip-Hop beats to all kind of soulful genres. He has been releasing eps and albums on labels like Closer, Jakarta and Melting pot Music!

A neck snapping drum break, lush rhodes chords, cosmic synths, guitar & horn flourishes and unexpected musical changeups bring in the hip-hop infected musicality the duo has become so loved for, while Nick & Astro collaborate vocally on top. Lyrically lamenting a possible near ending of a relationship, with a hopeful tinge towards the future, the laidback vocal vibes are a new and welcome sound for the duo.
