A set long overdue, some of my favourite full on tracks of the last few months (and beyond). Tried to build it up from 136 to 145 in 57 minutes, which isn't ideal, but I believe it tells a story nevertheless. Kodama - Full on into the Future

Born and bred in Belgium, at the age of fifteen Kodama moved to global music capital London where he picked up his love for psytrance at the legendary Drome. He spent a decade and a half in Asia, initially time as half of Magic Garden Concept, planting the seeds of the global psychedelic trance scene, throwing the first proper psytrance events at iconic locales such as club dkd, G+, MAO, Park 97, Madam Zung, Rojam, SOS, Babyface, Shelter, Dada, Logo, Cinderella etc. Some of these events, such as the two year Full Moon residency at dkd, the G+ Halloween Monster Bash attended by 2800 people and the Nine Year Anniversary at 1933 – Asia’s largest (now defunct) art deco abattoir -  have gone down in Shanghai nightlife folklore. Further afield Kodama has had the pleasure of slinging some tunes at Zoom Bar in Koh Phgangan  and other South-East Asian beaches. Kodama is now proud to be a member of GoaProductions, the foremost Chinese psytrance outfit which are pushing the scene forward with a label, the perennial Spirit Tribe Festival and nationwide international artist tours with artists like Dickster, Paul Taylor, Martian Arts, Braincell, Justin Chaos, Liftshift, Boom Shankar, Simon Pieman and many more. After a three year stint in Hong Kong, back in Shanghai he founded XIA | 下 - the city’s only monthly event dedicated to all things ambient, hosting local heroes and international artists playing everything from luscious downtempo, psybient, dub, glitch, live jams and everything in between, at the iconic DADA (RIP)! Now back in Belgium he is on semi-retirement, tending to his tomatoes. d*;*b
