Recorded live in a delirious state at 6:21 AM, August 19, 2014 in Berlin, Germany in an apartment resembling a dungeon using 1 broken electribe, (knobs held in place with paperclip, duct tape & gum from the dollar store) perched gently atop an ironing board (draped in black velvet to disguise its homely nature).

Solid Steel (28th November) This week in Hour 1 it's Tessela in the mix with a live recording for us from a recent festival. He's had a residency on Radio 1, releases on R & S, Punch Drunk & Poly Kicks and a string of remixes, including last month's excellent 'Aztec Chant' remix for recent guest Peverelist. We don't have a track list, but we do know it's a tough mix and features tracks from Jerome Hill, Dan Physics, Helena Hauff and Floorplan. He told us;
"This mix was recorded live at Austria's Elevate Festival in a long stone tunnel carved into a hill for use as an air raid shelter during the second world war. Source Direct was in charge of the lighting"

First five minutes of the first release on our new in-house label 'OTO roku'. This was recorded in January 2010 as part of Peter's first residency at Cafe OTO. The LP is the first of two sets performed on the final night of the residency with John Edwards on Double Bass and Steve Noble on Drums.

This was also the first time these three musicians had performed together.

The vinyl edition comes with two colour artwork by Peter Brötzmann silkscreened on a special 'duke parchment' acid-free archival card stock. The LP itself is housed in a two colour OTO-roku 'stock' 300gsm inner sleeve.

Recorded at Cafe OTO by Shane Browne, and Mastered by Andres [LUPO] Lupich at Dubplates & Mastering, Berlin. Record pressed on 180g virgin vinyl at Record Industry, The Netherlands.
