ELECTRIC FIELDS are two feminine brothers -ZAACHARIAHA FIELDING and MICHAEL ROSS - combining modern electric-soul music with ancient indigenous culture.
 
What happens when you take the edges of gender and culture, then meet at the cross section?
Elegantly coupling Ananu language and english in their soon-to-be-released debut EP SHADE AWAY, these girly boys are in the business of bypassing the barriers.  Something Australia and globe will be gagging for after the first listen. 

Writing as a duo, Electric Fileds brings together Zaachariaha Fielding’s lead vocal that takes soul to the stratosphere and Michael Ross’ true inventiveness as producer.  Think Daft Punk meets Deep Forest with the fearlessness of Nina Simone.

Individually, they’ve had highlights in previous projects with Michael Ross’ original song Equal Love being used online by Gay Marriage USA. 
Whilst in former duo ZK, Zaachariah Fielding impressed the Australian television audience so much they made it to the grand final of The Voice
and had an ARIA charting single with their take on John Lennon’s Imagine.

With a music video and two short documentaries already in the pipeline,

A Nashville-based electric guitarist and punk rock poet, Cassel converted from days as an acoustic folk artist to fronting a rock band with her trusty nicotine-patinated Strat, fondly known as “Old Yeller,” in tow. Combined with effortlessly melodic vocals, jazzy chords, and rock and roll attitude, one could call her music the fortunate meeting of Bonnie Raitt and Amy Winehouse. 

Cassel’s anticipated EP, spaces you crawl in between, shares personal glimpses into transcendently-everyday human experiences. Leaving home, the tumultuous highs and lows of love, and loss of innocence are all present, and Cassel handles every subject with brutally sincere poeticism. Her singles “Nothing” and “Untouchable” off of The Spaces You Crawl In Between can be heard on all streaming platforms.
