Author of the young adult fantasy romance series, The Carnelian Legacy, I am a native Oregonian who has been living in The Netherlands ever since I met and married a dreamy Dutch naval officer more than two decades ago. I love writing the stories I'd love to discover on a bookstore shelf and my Christian faith is a big influence on what I write.

My most important job; however, is that of being a mother to four rapidly-growing young adults. In the precious spare time that I have, I enjoy escaping to other worlds through reading, chilling out with a bowl of popcorn and Netflix or by visiting some exotic destination -- even if it's my neighbor's goat farm down the road.
