Here is a recording of my closing set at the DeMentha Halloween Party in a private warehouse venue in San Francisco. I landed back in the US only a few hours before my set but on arrival at the venue the DeMentha crowd and our gracious hosts made me feel right at home. The crowd was really up for a dark and dirty Halloween bash which allowed me to play more techno than some of my other sets which I really enjoyed, with some house grooves sprinkled throughout to give a bit of warmth. Bonus points if you know the final track of the night I played during the encore...hint: it's an Australian classic dance track 🇦🇺 🦘

And yes I was dressed as the most iconic Aussie of 2024...the one and only Raygun 😅

Live @ DeMentha Halloween Party, SF, 2024-11-02

Please enjoy this recording of my set from my 40th Birthday at the new venue 200 Channels (part of Monarch) in San Francisco! This was also the soft launch of our new club night FRYTM (stay tuned for upcoming events...).

There was a lot of positive energy in the room that night and this set is a reflection of the vibe I was feeling - warm, uplifting, groovey with lots of subby baseline rollers that got the custom Void sound system purring. It contains a lot of new music that currently inspires me plus a few classic tunes that have been an important part of my musical journey. I also finished with a new edit of mine that I have been working on, which is the first time I ever played a track of mine in a club :) 

Thank you so much to everyone who came along and made it such a fun night! I was absolutely buzzing afterwards and this set brings back many good memories. I hope you can feel it! ❤️

Live @ FRYTM Presents Kurt's Birthday, 200 Channels (Monarch) SF, 2025-03-06

As the sun set over the SVN West Rooftop after an incredible day in the sun with the Maccabi House crew, the energy didn’t stop—it just shifted. The party people made their way down the block to Public Works, where FRYTM was hosting the Loft upstairs, and I had the pleasure of kicking off phase two of the festivities.

This mix eases in with some deep, dubby, and groovy selections before building into more uplifting, moody, and high-energy house vibes. It was such a joy to see so many close friends on the dancefloor—your smiles and energy meant the world. I’m stoked with how this set turned out, and I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed playing it.

Big love to my FRYTM brother Matony and special guest I AM SHLOMI for absolutely smashing it in the Loft all night long. And of course, endless gratitude to my wife Jessica for her constant support on this musical journey. Much love <3

3 QUESTIONS to HIDDEN EMPIRE:

Q: How did you two guys meet once and how did you both come to electronic music? 

A: We met each other at a festival in Bonn. We liked each other personally and musically so we decided to do a studiosession. After a while we finished a lot of tracks and officially started the project "Hidden Empire".

Q: Your music and live-set sounds so powerful. Which hardware may not be missed in your studio and on the stage?

A: In our early ages we love to go to raves like Mayday and Nature One. Impressed by the energy and the power of electronic music, we both started as bedroomproducer/djs. on two turntables and one mixer.

Q: There is an album coming on Stil Vor Talent. Which further projects are on the way?

A: All components are important. But at the moment we are really in love with the new Pioneer Toraiz Sampler for our liveshows. In the studio and live we use a lot of Native Instruments Hard- and Software, which is essential for our productions.
