Kohbain is a DJ and electronic music producer from Australia. His music is influenced by the deep and soulful sounds of underground house and techno. 

Kohbain loves connecting with the crowd and creating musical journeys across a spectrum of genres, textures and emotions. Whether he is playing an extended set on the deep playa, top deck in the sunshine on Sydney harbor or under the moonlight amongst the Redwood trees, you can expect a playful blend of infectious grooves infused with positive dance floor energy.

I’m not a pro DJ, just someone deeply in love with music—house, techno, disco, jazz, piano, you name it. What started as fun at home after-parties has grown into a desire to share my vibe with a wider crowd. I don’t stick to one genre—I go with the mood and the moment. It’s all about sharing good vibes and connecting through music. Let’s get lost in the sound together.

In the early days of their legendary gatherings within the Burning Man community, DJs were rare in their circle. Instead of relying on an iPhone and a UE Boom, Replicah and Dave the Samurai—together known as ABOUT:BLANK—took the plunge, bought their first Pioneer controller, and began their journey. Their debut set at FAB in 2020 marked the start, drawing on Replicah’s experience as a composer, songwriter, and producer since her teenage years, alongside Dave’s multi-instrumental talents. They quickly found their rhythm as a DJ duo.

They couldn’t have imagined what lay ahead. Today, their community has flourished, hosting large-scale events filled with boundless creativity and inspiring artists. During lockdown, their need for connection led them to live stream, turning living rooms into virtual dance floors and bringing the party to a global audience via Stream and VR.

Their sets flow between tech house, indie dance, playa tech, and techno, blending mystical, heavy vibes with electrifying, sexy energy. 
Fans describe their sound as “where rainbow meets fire,” full of humor and unforgettable tracks.
