Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "color the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga)and this week's Raga comes straight from Uruguay by this beautiful artist who I stumbled upon a few weeks back, his sets are truly special and very unique he's Danilo aka Aua @olinad-930930786

From the early nineties Rave culture to today’s Downtempo scene, Aua continues to seek interesting forms in space and sound. His Uruguayan roots have instilled a strong sense of rhythm, beat, and magical realism; these combine in a playful and sometimes melancholic manner to create well balanced musical stories that have the potential to touch mind, body and soul.

I love playing music for my friends, so I imagined a cosmic setting where we gather and enjoy our company. Some are lying down, looking at the stars, others are shaking their bodies. Which one you would be you? It doesn’t matter. We are happy you are here.
Inspired by this scenario, I chose intersellar tracks with an Earthly flavor.

We have had a deep connection with José, aka Pol Balam, for years. His passion for music and love for those who create it (and of course many more), brought us together.
If we can now look at the stars with him and listen to his story, that is only a small part of his music work.

Starting off his DJ project @lavenderandthegoodtimes as a way of storytelling, the project evolved to a research focussed on how to create an atmosphere while taking a more non-progressive mixing style, creating a soundtrack that has the ability to lead instead of just to follow... Lav's inspiration comes from the concept of living. To feel is a large aspect of what it means to live, and that's exactly what he wants to achieve: have his listeners feel the intent of his creations. There's more to choosing the next track than just its BPM.
In this set, Lav presents us with some of his most favourite tracks he has played, and mixes these with some of his never played discoveries, creating an International Soundclash that he dubbed "Love Lasts In A Collapsed Society". Enjoy!

Am heutigen Tag präsentieren wir euch Andi Valent. Der Resident des Hamburger Südpols, welcher oft an der Seite des Berliners ,,Yobovski" zu sehen ist, kommt heute mal solo daher. Mit Yobovski zusammen fröhnte Herr Valent viele Jahre dem hedonistischen Faultiertakt mit einem gewissen Hang zu Pitch, wobei solche Set´s zuletzt rar wurden. In den letzten beiden Jahren entwickelten beide soundtechnisch einen Groove, der eher jenseits der 120 zu verorten ist, wobei die Leidenschaft für trippigen langsamen Sound geblieben ist. In guter alter Manier kommen mit diesem Set also ein paar Slow Punch(lines) daher. Viel Spaß damit <3 "

Para el pueblo Mapuche, la llegada del verano o WALÜNG significa el comienzo de tiempos de abundancia, donde el sol se mantiene más tiempo en el cielo, llegan los frutos, maduran los cereales y la flora y fauna se fecunda.

Nosotros como Tchamma Yapu celebramos también la llegada de este WALÜNG, que en un año con un post eclipse representa mucho más, ya que al mismo tiempo tenemos la triple conjunción entre Júpiter, Saturno y Plutón que da paso a la nueva era de acuario, llamada la época de la nueva humanidad que todos esperamos.

Un momento preciso en el espacio tiempo para reunir a grandes exponentes y artistas emergentes del downtempo Chileno, para conformar este WALÜNG y marcar la llegada de tiempos mejores para todos juntos.

For our native peoples, the seasonal changes are very important. For the Mapuche people, the arrival of summer or WALÜNG means the beginning of times of abundance, where the sun stays longer in the sky, the fruits arrive, the cereals ripen and the flora and fauna are fertilized.

We as Tchamma Yapu also celebrate the arrival of this WALÜNG, which in a year with a post eclipse represents much more, since at the same time we have the triple conjunction between Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto that gives way to the new age of Aquarius, called the time of the new humanity that we all await.
