Our most ddddddancy mix contribution in a little while here from Japan's @mayurashka. We first came across her music when she sent us 'Maco Jungle' from the @planettrip compilation Ordinary Dreams Vol. 2 and have been enjoying her mixes and productions since. This one harks back to sweaty basement times pre-covid, a kind of clubbing unity that many of us are still settling into after copious global lockdowns. Equal parts for the mind and the body, Mayurashka cuts across genres and moods with deft. Please enjoy and turn up the volume!

I called one of my close friends when my problems started piling up
I said, "Listen, I haven't felt good for 8-9 years now"
He got angry all of a sudden, flared up
I'm guessing he bounced where he sat
He said, "Get up now. Come over"
I said, "Yeah I'll do that but I can't get there quickly
'Cause you know what, I haven't felt good for 8-9 years now"
"So be it" he said, "Come over even if it's late"
I went there slowly, taking my time
I said, "So, I'm here"
"What's wrong with you?" he asked me

He went to the kitchen, fetched a chopper from the drawer
He wrapped the chopper in his grandma's scarf
And then he put raw meat on top of it

I asked him, "Are you sure?"

Ist n kleinen Moment her seit dem letzten Podcast.
Aber haben euch dafür was sehr feines mitgebracht. Irgendwo zwischen Köln und Berlin bewegend, stellen wir euch Zhta vor – wir haben uns direkt in den abgedrehten Sound von Zhta verliebt.

Euer Schiff hat nach langer, entbehrungsreicher Seefahrt inkl. Nazaré-like Wellengängen und zehrenden Skorbutausbrüchen endlich die Küste einer unbekannten Insel erreicht 🏝

Catan soll sie heißen! Doch ihr seid nicht die einzigen Entdecker:innen. Auch andere unerschrockene Seefahrer:innen haben ihre Anker vor der Küste Catans geworfen ⚓️ 

Nachdem ihr euch mit geschärften Machetenklingen durch den dichten Dschungel geschlagen habt, lichtet sich das Dickicht und ihr trefft auf den Stamm der @Gluecksstraehne, der die Insel schon seit geraumer Zheit belagert. Ihr weibliches Oberhaupt: @zhta von Catan 👑

Gemeinsam mit der Revolutuonsführerin Ginger dem Chicken 🐥 betanzt und bezhingt die Monarchin von Catan Tag ein Nacht aus ihre Inselherrschaft. Nach und nach unterwarfen sich der Ziehtanerin weitere beflügelte Wesen. Schnell waren das Inselmanifest der Rausch- und Rudelfamilie verabschiedet 📜

§3 Wenn Rührei, dann nur aus Bio-Freilandhaltung.
§4 Die alleinige Landesprache ist Slowtechepathie.

Due to... reasons (no pointing fingers 😘), we had to (partially) re-record the set. And just before handing over to @reyneke, there was a solid amount of Sekt spilled on the decks (not our fault ☝️), which made us play the last tracks on a CDJ that was standing on its side.

Our dear Berlin based sound wizard Mikal, shaped a colorful MONADA BRAHMA 026 which will magically revive our mandatory paused bodys and revitalize us with his rhythmic sounds. 
We met Mikal the first time a couple of years ago at one of the legendary Spitzi garden parties for Berlin big kids. ;) It's been a crazy and fun weekend filled with amazing music acts, free spirits and lovely souls.. just like Mikal himself who nourished us there with a spontaneous bum shaking and deep driving downtempo set. 
The DJ and vinyl lover who always finds ways to excite and heat up the lively dance floors for Berlin's sweetest fairies & craziest unicorns, loves to surf the outer spaces of deep, organic and elegant grooving sound waves, chasing eclectic tracks and sweet melodies that empower our inner dancer and let our soul spread its wings to fly into the mysterious and unexplored.

Mikal's cover art is provided by Radka Tiarksova and her visionairy art project Radka Soulart. We believe that a combination of different styles of art will allow our senses to expand, feel & see the whole picture within. The name of this beautiful piece is 'Decide To Life'.
And that's the key message of this chapter – Decide to life - no matter what the world comes up with, don't forget life and its preciousness. Don't let yourself be distracted from the game and concentrate tirelessly on your dreams. Let's keep life alive in all it's facetts & colorfulness - that's the true mission!

Mikal: „I`m a plant wizard and DJ from Berlin. I like a wide spectrum of sounds. I listened to many kinds of music even before I was born. That was also the time I quit drugs and music remained my only one. I enjoyed it a lot to do the Monada Mix (Thanks heaps to the Monada tribe for having me and keeping me up ;). I planned the mix as a foggy downtempo one, but the flow took me continuously towards one for the dancing feet. Hope much u will enjoy it.

Since we all coexist on this planet — some closer to, some farther away from each other — we know how you have been feeling this past year.
Mood swings happen on a daily basis. Uncertainty is sitting deeply in all of us. What is happening? Where will this lead? Is there an end in sight?

We're no psychics either, but in times like these something everyone should do is to keep the spirits up for themselves and those around them.
And so we set out and forged something, that's rather different from our usual output, but yet wholesome and our equivalent of a bag of warm and loving hugs. Without the fear of getting infected with some kind of virus of course.

A new story in our ever growing book of slowness is coming to fruition and now is the time to present its first chapter.
