+About Me+

Kenny DePrince, AKA SwingKidd has been passionately creating music for over 17 years, to do otherwise would be completely out of his nature. Having traveled the East Coast playing events from Rhode Island to Miami, Puerto Rico to NYC, SwingKidd has become a legendary name as a battle-scarred wicked turntablist to a musing music producer. Within the past 12 years, Swingkidd often spends countless hours creating and producing the music that fuels his passion. His sound and finely tuned skill is demonstrated by intricate scratching, proper mixing, and beat juggling with a track selection that is well represented by sight and sound.

Most recently, Swingkidd directs his focus and abilities towards his life-long artistic projects, original music production, and performing at many of Philadelphia's Night Life Events. He is available to provide proper art and entertainment for any event in the United States and Beyond!

Since the late 90's, as one of the few of Philadelphia's most skilled and original vinyl scratch DJ's, SwingKidd has been infecting the sound waves of the 215 with an impressive display of turntablist techniques. Swingkidd pulls inspiration from Original DJ's such as Craze, Q-Bert, & Premier- which spawned a harmonious union between Hip-Hop and Drum & Bass that surges through his hands. He has performed with many top hip-hop and electronic producers & DJs from DJ Craze to Too Tuff, and even J Smooth. 

He will be releasing his produced tracks within the next year as well as tracks he has been collaborating with others on. Is the world ready for the undeniable creative super-ability that is SwingKidd?

NOBI has been playing music for over a decade, mixing numerous heavy-bass genres, crossing jungle, drum and bass, dubstep, ragga, trap, and grime.  He don’t play no pussy shit!  

Over the years, he has shared the stage with Starskream (of Slipknot), Dieselboy, Evol Intent, Robyn Chaos, Dylan Freak, 6locc, Kraze, DJ Swamp, Endboss, Sector 1, and Secret Agent Gel.  He has played in most states along the east seaboard at festivals such as WEMF.

Among his DJ children and grandchildren, NOBI counts Dubstep Mafia’s own talent Uni Cron, Mr. Bitchez, LingLing, as well as Kyng of Thievez and Caulon Haze.
In Philadelphia, NOBI works closely with A-DuB, Glitch Squad (Ruxbin, Jack Deezl, Ethan DuBB, Shane SixTen), Pure Productions, and others as a both DJ and sound technician.
