Here we are, Lovecast 100, time to look back at 8 years full of love with the help of some of our global residents, they each contributed 2-3 tracks to this set and take you on a musical journey down the memory lane.... 

1) @marcelpuntheller - Our first Global Resident and personified Globetrotter Marcel, currently based in Mexico, and constant supporter and good mood spreader at LF Events all over the world. Too many gigs for us to keep track, most notable moment might be the 14 Hour Set at our Stage at Distant Grounds Festival in Greece in Summer 2016. 

2) Kotoe aka @kotoek was the Angel that helped us organize the LF Tour in Brasil in January 2018, together with @andrevictor. She became a close friend during this crazy tour and a global resident afterwards. Most notably probably her Gig during Katzensprung Festival 2019, the Festival organisers asked us to put three acts on our stage and Kotoe had to play after @missmelera, which plays around 20bpm faster then her, she managed perfectly of course ;) 

3) Laura aka @lola-villa-musica had her first gig ever in our beloved LF Amsterdam home, the Waterhouse, she became our first Amsterdam Resident together with Sauerkraut and played for us all over the world afterwards. She is currently residing in Mexico, but we hope to welcome her soon in Europe again. Most notable Gig, maybe the closing set of Pilzkiste in Maastricht in 2018, "I bless the rains down in Africa".... 

4) Simeon aka @feinheitsbrei is a LF Dresden resident and an incredible producer that also had several releases on our Label, Hug Records. Most notable Gig was probably Simeon playing on the main Floor of Fluc under a Highway in Vienna, at a party that we organised together with our friends from @downvienna. 

5)Moti aka @funkamel1 was one of the driving force behind LF Tel Aviv and he also happens to be a great DJ. Funkamel has been playing at many of our Israeli parties, including the closing set at the last big party of LF Tel Aviv before the Pandemic began, on 27.02.2020. 

6) @rafiralfiro is a LF Family member since many years and was very involved in the setting up of LF Brussels, his most notable Gig for us was probably at one of the last parties in our beloved Waterhouse, in summer 2016. 

7) @mahfoudmusic is the Artist that has been involved the longest with LF, being one of the main music exports from Maastricht, the birth place of LF, he has played a set at our third party ever, back in 2013 and he had played countless of other sets afterwards for us all over the world. Having been born in Syria, his set for LF Tel Aviv in 2017, is probably the most memorable one though. 

8) If you have been involved with LF for a while, then you know that there was only one possible closer for this podcast, the LF closer himself, Mr. @tantedante So many legendary days and nights were closed by him, but one certainly stands out, the first 48 Hour Party of LF at Mensch Meier, where a planned 2 Hour closing set of Dante ended with a 4 Hour set after 50 hours .... the MM crew loved the set too much to stop it, despite the 48 hours that had passed already. 

This is of course just a small selection, but it is already our longest Lovecast so far, so we can not share all of our residents in one Lovecast unfortunately. We are however deeply thankful to all the artists and volunteers that made it such an incredible journey so far and we look forward to many more unforgettable moments together.

Das erste Mal als ich Azad kennengelernt habe war im Sommer 2014. Ich und meine Jungs waren für ein Wochenende in Berlin und standen gerade an beim Klub  Suicide Circus. Er stand hinter mir und sprach mich an und wir kamen so ins Gespräch. Er war alleine dort vor dem Club, so bisl lost kam er mir zunächst vor. Im Verlauf vom Abend wurde er Teil unserer Gruppe und schliesslich verbrachte er das ganze Wochenende mit uns und zog auch zu uns in unsere gemietete Behausung für die paar Tage. Er zog weiter in das nächste Land und wir zurück in die Schweiz nach Weinfelden. Über die Jahre hielten wir immer wieder Kontakt und später lernte ich auch Leonardo, July und Claudio von der HS12-Crew kennen. Coole Leute und vor allem geile WG (Azad und Claudio). Ich finde toll was sie machen und vor allem WIE sie es machen! Es braucht junge ,gute Leute wie sie, die mit Ihren Veranstaltungen das Zürinachtleben aufmischen.

The first time I met Azad was in summer 2014. Me and my boys were in Berlin for a weekend and were standing in line at the Suicide Circus Club. He stood behind me and spoke to me and we got talking. He was alone there in front of the club, he seemed so lost to me at first. During the evening he became part of our group and eventually he spent the whole weekend with us and also moved in with us in our rented house for a few days. He moved on to the next country and we moved back to Weinfelden in Switzerland. We kept in touch over the years and later I also got to know Leonardo, July and Claudio from the HS12 crew. Cool people and above all, Azad & Claudio are flat shares. I think it's great what they do and especially HOW they do it! We need young, good people like them, who mix up Zurich's nightlife with their events.
