Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

Long before this time has come in a mysterious and strange place where animals can speak and trees are made of poetry one exotic bird fly away from its home to find where the happiness is. The bird flew into the open skies leaving behind unknown lands and mythical landscapes, old mountains and blooming gardens, people of sorrow and happiness, Shamans into ancient temples and villagers into green-grass lands. One day the bird landed into the land of mount Oka, where the almond trees were full of beautiful white and rose flowers. The bird take a look around, close its eyes and start building the dreams that we all dream. Jean Vayat is a man of wisdom and happiness. This is his third offering for Shango Records. These three tracks can build the dreams inside your dreams. Jose Solano, Aleceo, Monvol, Kútus and ÜNAM are the exotic birds of love and passion.

Rodrigo Gallardo & Mente Orgánica - Cabalga

Robert Keith McFerrin Jr. is an American jazz vocalist. He is known for his vocal techniques, such as singing fluidly but with quick and considerable jumps in pitch—for example, sustaining a melody while also rapidly alternating with arpeggios and harmonies—as well as scat singing, polyphonic overtone singing, and improvisational vocal percussion. He is widely known for performing and recording regularly as an unaccompanied solo vocal artist. He has frequently collaborated with other artists from both the jazz and classical scenes. Since 1982 he has released more than 25 albums and faced several chart hits. "Circlesong 6" is an amazing vocal track taken from his superb album "CIRCLESONGS" released back in 1997. A timeless piece of emotional beauty transformed into a Downtempo/Electronica heaven by Kútus.

Claudio Capo’s Tanzgemeinschaft has been ruling the melodic and techno charts now, with the label owner’s shrewd A&R skills quickly turning the label into a constant force in the Beatport charts.
Always looking to spotlight some of electronic music’s best up-and-comers, the label’s latest release is a brilliant remix package of the North South Project’s Black Shadows. The label’s 19th release, Black Shadows proved a highlight of the label’s 2020 catalogue. Suffice to say, this is a remix package that pays homage to the release in quite emphatic fashion. First out of the traps is Pedro Mercado’s stunning interpretation. A brilliantly musical remix, it sets us on the way in quite expert fashion. Melodic, captivating and keeping our attention firmly clocked throughout, its warm, sun-inducing vibes are the perfect anecdote to these colder climes.
The second remix comes at us from Spanish artists EKDK, who takes the spine-tingling brilliance of the original and turns it into something quite emphatic indeed. Keeping the original’s melancholic vibes intact, it’s a perfect slice of hypnotic techno that’s deserving of a large stage.
Closing out matters is Montenegro artist Buba, a man who perfectly encapsulates the label’s penchant for signing talented new producers. Though his remix retains less of the original’s vibes, it nonetheless coasts along at a quite frantic and banging pace, barely stopping for breath as it lets its dancefloor intentions known.
