One of the tightest live ensembles on the planet, the Souljazz Orchestra has been fusing global roots music with soul, funk and jazz for almost a decade. With a new album <i>Inner Fire</i> on the way at the end of February, the band's leader Pierre Chrétien broke out the turntables and vintage Roland Space Echo effects unit, put together a short mix showcasing highlights from the Orchestra's career; from the debut release in 2006 until the present, including a first listen to some smoking new material from <i>Inner Fire</i>. Have a listen to the career arc of an incredible band, and look for the new album at the end of February.

This remix is taken from 'Terraforming In Analogue Space - IRL Remixes 2000 - 2015'. This double album is a collection of classic world music tracks from artists such as Tinariwen, Justin Adams & Juldeh Camara, Lo'Jo, Malawi Mouse Boys etc remixed by renowned and up coming remixes including Eccodek, Dubulah, Transglobal Underground, The Dhol Foundation and many more.

Tinariwen - Oualahila Ar Tesninam - Transglobal Underground mix

James Watson ist ein aus Freiburg stammender DJ und Produzent. Mit 13 fing James das Produzieren von eigenen Liedern mit einer alten FL Studio Version seines Bruders an. Schnell entwickelte sich ein großes Interesse an elektronischer Musik und dem Auflegen dieser. Angefangen mit einem kleinen Controller schaffte es James sich in Freiburg von kleinen Geburtstagen bis hoch in die großen Clubs der Stadt Freiburg zu spielen. Neko Disco (ehm. Kagan), Agar und Balz Bambi waren des öfteren Stationen des jungen DJs. Jedoch verbrachte er die meißte Zeit im Hans-Bunte-Areal, wo er letztes Jahr als Resident DJ regelmäßig gebucht war. Dort spielte er öfters mit Techno Größen wie Klaudia Gawlas, Boris Brejcha, Pappenheimer & Kerstin Eden, usw. 2018 bewegte es James in die Stadt München, wo er heute bei dem Veranstalter Psychedelic Tribe als Resident spielt und beim dazu gehörigen Label seine eigens produzierte Musik veröffentlicht. Zu den Münchner Locationsdurfte er bereits das Maxes und Backstage als seine Bühne bezeichnen. Darüber hinaus gelang es ihm durch einen DJ Contest bei der Proggynation zusammen mit den international bekannten Künstler Morten Granau und Klopfgeister sich die Bühne zu teilen. Auch Psytrance DJ’s wie Neelix, Phaxe und Vini Vici durfte er schon supporten.
