Rene Wise has only been in the game a short time though his network and output hint differently. A drummer from the age of seven, his intuitive ear naturally turned digital and has been catching the attention of industry heads in recent years. Bassiani Podcast 92 is a perfect exemplar for his sound: primal, anarchic and groovy, the fluent brand of techno with which the fresh-faced Brightonian has rightfully earned his stripes.

WINTI DANSI 

WINTI is a spiritual belief which lives under the six ndyuka tribes in Surinam. The dancers prepared their bodies with herbs and are therefore able to dance through the fire. While doing the WINTI DANSI, it is possible for the dancer to go into a trance. The WINTI DANSI is only performed on special occasions. 

This mix is recorded with a closing state of mind. Powerful rhythmic tracks which connects me to my KRAKTI (Powerful) culture. Searching for a bit more edge while keeping consistent rhythms. A bit faster than the other NDYUKA podcasts but never fast for the sake of being fast. 

Just like a WINTI DANSI i love it when people not just hear the music but really feel it. To a point where you could close your eyes and connect with the smallest details without any effort.

3-hour peak time sets are very rare, and I´m grateful that the club gave me the freedom here. It was recorded in one night, from Thursday to Friday, and it sounds that way too. A bit deeper than the "usual" peak time sets because the crowd really connected with the vibe. A night without high expectations, but it turned out to be very special.

Conundrum Records boss Stephen Disario has placed himself at the forefront of Los Angeles’s techno community with his signature style of moody, driving techno. Whether in the studio or behind the decks his sound is distinct, and his passion rings clear in his music. Stephen has also offered huge contributions to the Los Angeles scene by organizing events under the Cognition brand, which he co-founded in 2017, and through his involvement with H2Audio, a premier LA based sound company.  He had his breakthrough year in 2020 with his track “Rave” gaining support from Amelie Lens, Pan Pot, and many others. Stephen continued to break the mold in 2021 with the release of “Pulse” which was constant rotation and found its way into Chris Liebing’s AM/FM podcast.
