Her journey with electronic music started ten years ago, chasing the eternal high and best parties in the world as a regular dancer in cities like London and Berlin. Carmen eventually made the transition from the dancefloor to the decks as her passion for music grew, set to immerse herself further into the electronic music scene by playing vinyl, honing her skills as a DJ and developing a unique style that combines elements of techno, trance, and rave music.

Constructing complex sonic cathedrals from a mind- and toolset born of both the UK as the EU, the artist going by the name of Decka, presents quite a unique panoply of sounds to his willing listeners. His music reflects a fascinating blend of bone-stripping Techno and blissfully blinding Bass, forging a musical mélange looking both to the big room Industrial sound of the German capital, where he nowadays resides as well as the sub-low pressure rooted in his hometown of Bristol.

Nuno Costa comenzó sus incursiones en la música electrónica en 2008 con su apodo Sinner, y con él creó Warface, un grupo y promotor local centrado en el dubstep, el drum 'n' bass y el garage británico. En 2013 puso en marcha su nuevo proyecto, VIL, centrándose principalmente en la música techno, electro, breaks y house. Su EP debut llegó a principios de 2015, cuando el sello portugués Extended Records lo eligió para un lanzamiento. Poco después, lanzó en el sello "Faut Section" de Lewis Fautzi y en el legendario sello techno Synewave New York, dirigido por Damon Wild. El gusto refinado y la capacidad de construcción de escenarios de VIL ya le han valido un lugar en algunos de los mejores clubes del país, entre los que se incluyen Lux Frágil, Gare y Ministerium, y también es una presencia habitual en muchos de los festivales del país. Avance rápido hasta 2018, donde junto a los artistas portugueses Temudo y menosdois, crea Hayes, un colectivo enfocado en mostrar la producción distintiva de sus artistas a través de lanzamientos digitales y de vinilo. Contando ya con tres ediciones en vinilo desde sus inicios, su música ya ha sido tocada por los más grandes artistas de la escena.

For our 147th FrenzyPodcast we invited the Berlin-based vinylhead, Kyly. Kyly is a lover of the 2000's tribal sound - anything with bongos, loose percussion & tribe vocals will surely fit his record bag as he believes this sound to make for the hottest dancefloors.

Being gifted a darbuka (turkish drum) & a guitar by his father sparked his interest in rhythm and percussion at an early age. Later introduced to techno music and the concept of Dj'ing by his friends, he started to gain more and more interest in techno and the culture surrounding it. It wasn't until he switched to vinyl and started discovering the sounds of 2000's legends like Chris Mccormack, Mark Williams and Mark Broom though, that his interest developed into a deep passion.

Today Kyly is obsessed with the warmth and unique charackter of early 2000's tribal / techno. It's the rhythm, the joy and the instinctiveness of that era he's truly in love with. Constantly refining his skills & his record collection, Kyly hopes to convey his joy of music to the people listening; creating a vibe that is colorful, cheerful and interactive.

Vault Sessions #142 -  Vinicius Honorio

Locus Error is a techno DJ from Nijmegen who already made quite a name for herself. With her groovy, uplifting techno and bouncy basslines, she already won over many audiences. This she proves with her residencies for Planet Rose, Open Source Radio and BALANS, but also with performances for Thuishaven, Bauhauz and for Artdictive in Radion.
Her performances show a passion for music that started as an 8-year-old cellist at a music school in Belgium. A passion that she expresses, among other things, in the event and record label BALANS that she runs together with Tripeo and also shows in the way in which she has helped Soundlab, the first DJ and producer student association in the Netherlands, rise to a higher level.
Be enchanted by her musical, but no less gruesome techno beats!

Conundrum Records boss Stephen Disario has placed himself at the forefront of Los Angeles’s techno community with his signature style of moody, driving techno. Whether in the studio or behind the decks his sound is distinct, and his passion rings clear in his music. Stephen has also offered huge contributions to the Los Angeles scene by organizing events under the Cognition brand, which he co-founded in 2017, and through his involvement with H2Audio, a premier LA based sound company.  He had his breakthrough year in 2020 with his track “Rave” gaining support from Amelie Lens, Pan Pot, and many others. Stephen continued to break the mold in 2021 with the release of “Pulse” which was constant rotation and found its way into Chris Liebing’s AM/FM podcast. You can catch Stephen playing at sweaty warehouses small and large as well as notable events like ADE, Boiler Room, CRSSD, and others.

Pernox is a German-based DJ and producer and known for his driving and high energy sound which mainly blends contemporary Techno and Trance elements. With a musical foundation rooted in playing the bass guitar and piano during his youth, Pernox took his first steps in DJing in 2016. Since 2017, he has held a residency at Geheimclub Magdeburg, where he gained extensive experience through numerous extended sets, learning to adapt his sound to different settings and take the crowd on a journey through various atmospheres. In recent years, he has showcased his preference for high-paced sets that never lack groove, performing at renowned venues throughout Germany such as RSO and Else, as well as at his first international gigs. 

Producing his own tracks since 2021 Pernox has already left some fresh artistic scent marks with remarkable releases on esteemed labels like Mama Told Ya and Maison Close Records which have been supported by key figures within the industry. With his flawless mixing skills and his careful track selection which lead to his signature sound, Pernox is unquestionably an artist to keep an eye on.
