For the 15th edition of re:flect radar, we present a 47 track mix by layering wizard @jangoertz

Jan Goertz's creative work is largely driven by the desire to test and redefine his limits in competition with technology. This is one of the reasons why he is known for his 4-deck mixes containing a multitude of tracks. First two and then three players simply became too boring for him. The motivation to DJ, however, also comes from the calmness that is triggered in his otherwise very bustling head during the process. And of course the fun!
His goal in djing is the creation of an "endless groove". By breaking up track structures, Jan wants to form a mix as a "unity from its individual parts, instead of just stringing songs together". He prefers to play with four players. "Vinyl is cool but more for house and smoother techno :D".
Primarily, Jan draws inspiration from the club context - both as a guest and as an artist. For him, techno is first and foremost "functional and works for and in a club. That's what this music is made for."
Key moments for the DJ, who has been active since 2013, were his 10.5-hour set at Geheimclub Magdeburg and the sprawling back to backs with Rod_a and Morgenstern. 
His role models are DVS1, Ben Klock and ROD.
A young and up-and-coming artist that he thinks we should definitely keep an eye on is @morgenstern_sb

Project started in 2020, in the north of Spain, focusing on hypnotic Techno music.
Linear System develops a unique signature in his tracks mixing strong bassline layers,
Sci-fi ambiances, cold atmospheres and shamanic rhythms.
His music appears on mighty labels like Edit Select, Dynamic Reflection, Planet
Rhythm, Molecular Recordings, Symbolism...and being supported by names like Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Rødhad, Shifted, Sigha, Ben Klock..to name a few.

2006 marks the starting point of his now primary outlet: P.E.A.R.L. releasing his first tracks on Tsunami Records. In 2012 he moves to Berlin and one year after he founds his own imprint,  Falling Ethics Records, first as an outlet for his own productions and lately opening the doors to other creators like Umwelt or Oscar Mulero.
Recently in 2020-2021, he unleashed a string of hard-hitting tracks and EPs such as Tribal Science on Hector Oaks imprint OAKS or We Will Not All Fall , the first release of his new Falling Ethics sublabel Moral Standards: A subjective look at the current Techno scene with music from artists like Matrixxman, Sunil Sharpe, VCO or Nene H. 
An excellent selector and performer, combining the pulse of pounding grooves in a very eclectic way, always making his sets an unexpected journey.

BIO:

OTHK is a duo from Poland based in Sopot. Katarzyna Dąbrowa and Łukasz Gierszewski. Their fully modular, improvised live acts make much use of distortion and saturation, haunting reverbs and delays as well as unusual pitch modulation effects, combining ambient drones, industrial wave, field recordings and a raw modular sound. The result is dark, hypnotic techno with noise and acid flavours.
