Influenced Podcast 030 - Eyth

Started my journey with a variety of electronic music styles but was mostly impressed by the fact paced, dark, hypnotic elements of the tracks. Since a year or so, I have been discovering more groovy, raw and hypnotic artists/tracks/labels which I am fond of now and that leads me to just get lost for hours back to back in the music when I start Dj’ing/digging new music.

Beside my own artist path, I have created the platform @osu.rhythms with my friend @jordy.maikel where we share music that we love to connect people with the more unknown side of the electronic music world. There are more things coming up from this platform so stay tuned!

Months ago, I received a demo from my man, Luis @I-G.L.O. We got chatting and he sent over 16 tracks… As soon as I heard these 16 tracks, I swiftly contacted the real deal og @connorwall where we then decided Luis is a wizard. 

We’ve spoke almost every day since and I had the honour to release his first track in the OSC001 VA and now his first solo EP in OSC002. 

Luis is a fantastic artist and a great friend and I can’t wait to share his beautiful, reflective, sophisticated sound with you all.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, now based in South Korea, Thomas Ahn(Sukaks) has been developing his passion for music since an early age. 
In 2020, when he arrives to Korea, he felt the necessity to transmit to the local scene, what he felt back in Argentina.
Since then, he has been looking for his own style.
Strongly attracted by powerful grooves, and Detroit techno, he aims to transmit hypnotic vibes combined with some raw sounds which can be heard on his sets.

@eye_dalia always has been a music nerd by heart but she never saw many DJs that looked like her. Her desire for more latinx representation in the techno scene motivated her to jump into DJing herself.
Main inspirations for her are certain themes in nature, specific film scenes, art as well as her current emotions.
To others she describes her creative work as ‚sexy, sabroso, groovy‘, always wanting to make people dance forever. A key moment in her creative career has been DJing in New York in front her peers and mentors. "Playing for people that are TRUE HEADS was refreshing and I was able to fully immerse myself", she says. In the future she would also like to dive into different fields such as music production and film scoring, which has been a lifelong career goal for her.

According to Idalia, the local talent from New Orleans definitely deserves more recognition, as the queer community is thriving & flourishing beautifully there.
Artists such as Ephemera, Angel Inertia, Phlegm, Heavy Pleasure, Faeregothmother, Special Interest, Bouffant Bouffant are putting amazing work out.
