i know what you did LIVE last summer

Outpost was conceived and produced in the far reaches of the world on the magic island of Koh Phangan in Thailand. The 1st and 3rd tracks which were completed in Paul Taylor's Island Studio are a collaboration between Paul Taylor and Jules Hamer (a.k.a. Aphid  Moon).  The 2nd and 4th tracks, although spawned in the same studio, were each worked into different tracks. 'Mutha Buffa' by Paul Taylor in Island Studio and 'Nutha Buffa' by Jules Hamer in Aphid Studios, London.  The overall theme of Outpost was directly inspired by the magical, psychedelic, beautifully wild surroundings of the Island.

Gelika aka Insane Creatures/Tyndra is now bringing us some sounds from Insane Creatures project to the first edition of a new series featuring Purple Hexagon Records. You can also read an audio-illustrated interview with her in The Ozorian Prophet.

Insane Creatures is a project made by Angela Flo based in United Kingdom (London).

In 2005, Angela Flo started to DJ in the London underground scene and in 2008 she studied music production at London School of Sound, now studying Music Technology Specialist in University of West London.

After 2 years of producing Gelika met Gabriel Suarez and combining their creativity together they formed the psychedelic project Insane Creatures. Gabriel Suarez left the project in 2014 and Angela Flo will be continuing this project from now on.
Its underground style comes from heavy baselines, twisted leads, dark atmospheric pads and effects, aggressive sharp frequencies in the drums and percussion. She played around UK mostly in London, Spain (Barcelona), France, Italy (Torino), Turkey, Romania (Transylvania Calling festival), Croatia (Momento Demento Festival), Switzerland, Greece (Blast your mind), Austria, Germany, Cyprus, etc.

Expect more to come in the near future in this new world of insane sounds.

Vertical is Joonas Lehtinen, born and bred in Finland. He has always been in to electronic music and around 1997 he started to experiment with compositions of his own.

His first contact with Goa trance was in 1996, but he started to get more interested in to psytrance around the year 2001 through various Finnish and international projects. 2002 he attended to his first psy party which was definitely the kick start for him to make this kind of music.

He gets his inspiration from parties and everyday life, nature, space and what not.
The music is a mixture of funny and serious, mind and dancefloor friendly psytrance. In his tracks he has got his own individual vibe which makes him stand out.

The Electric Universe project was founded in 1991 in Hamburg, Germany. Being inspired by the first big Voov Experience party, some of his first psytrance orientated tracks found their way to DJ Antaro, who had just started his label Spirit Zone. The Electric Universe "Solar Energy" maxi single was the second release on Spirit Zone. It turned out to be a big hit and set the ground for the first album “One Love” in 1994. More and more Trance parties were taking place and Electric Universe started to play, mainly in Germany at first, later all around the globe.

1997 was the year of the "Stardiver" album, with the breakbeat monster "Online Information", which blew away the dance floors everywhere. In 1999 Roland Wedig joined Electric Universe and the result of the first cooperation was the track "Meteor" on the "Blue Planet" album. This kicking tune, with its expressive guitar lines was played on practically every party for well over a year and probably is the most often played guitardriven psytrance tune of all times. In 2004 “Cosmic Experience” was released including the "Prayer" track, outstanding through the amazing vocals of an Indian prayer. Because of the closing down of Spirit Zone Records in 2005 this album was the last one in more than ten years of cooperation with Antaro's label.

Boris Blenn, psytrance producer of the very first hour has enriched the dance floors of the planet with hundreds of live performances and many hit tunes over the years. With far over 150,000 records sold, Boris is one of the top producers of the scene. The core of the Electric Universe productions and performances has to be its infectious, uplifting energy. It is about bliss and of course to make people dance and enjoy themselves.

Boris Blenn is also successfully working on several side projects such as Jupiter 8000 on Nova Tekk/Liquid Audio/Avatar Records. The chill project Galaxy had its first two releases on Blue Room. The third Galaxy album "Science of Ecstasy", released on Chillcode in 2005, got No. 1 in the Official German Chill Out Charts.

Lots of cooperations have been happening with artists such as DJ Sangeet, S.U.N. Project, GMS, Four Winds Circle, and especially Olli Wisdom (Space Tribe).

Edell is Edi Reifman , born in Ukraine in 1981 and live in Israel since 1991. in 1995 Edi discovered the psytrance music and fall in love! Since then he knew this will be a longer addiction in life. In 1998 he started to DJing with the purpose to create a new standard of mixed and alternating psy-music by including all the known styles and forms in his sets. The passion to play progressive, dark and melodic morning full-on tunes to bring the amazing moments in unprepared situtation on the dance floor is one of his main features. In such moments the body's spirit gets into contact with another stage of consciousness These are the moments when Edi feels himself as a part of this consciousness. Charalambos Pieris is the man behind the project CLAW. His involvement into electronic music starts way back in the 90s with several releases in house Music and chillout as well as electronica.
He started djing around and then he was introduced in to Psychedelic music. This was around 2004 and since then he played in many countries around the world in parties and festivals, released one album, and 1 Ep and lots single releases under the name CLAW. He also has numerous collaborations with famous names in the scene, as well as a couple of alternative projects…

Most important thing being a producer & dj is the feeling you get while performing and watching the crowd digging what you play and mostly what you produced, as well as meeting and making new friends from different countries of the world.

CLAW music is powerful and sensational with deep basslines and futuristic sounds. His music introduces weird soundscapes and dripping sounds, each track has a different story to tell with a unique and exceptional journey.

ELOWINZ by Diogo Gouvea presents Parvati Records‘ next show on radiOzora.

Elowinz was created by Diogo Gouvea and Tomas Vezzali in 2012. From 2015 onwards Diogo handle the project alone.
His music roots are in Hard Core and Punk bands where he played and performed in the undergound scene of Sao Paulo.

Since 2005 producing psychedelic music on different projects and in 2012 the Elowinz Live Act became the focus of his productions. The detailed percussion work together with arrangements of different synthesis are gently guiding the dancers into trance.

His first EP, Sananga is being released in October 2016.

Compiled by Blisargon Demogorgon, this CD represents his selection of the modern night time psychedelic sound that has been tested on the dancefloors around the globe. The project took a year to complete and involved listening to numerous tracks but ultimately selecting only the very finest to appear on special release. “Challenge from Beyond” features both well-known artists such as Dohm, Terratech, Farebi Jalebi, Silent Horror, Malkaviam, LAB, Blisargon Demogorgon, Shadow Noises, Hagenith, as well as up-and-coming names like Anubian and Oddpass. The compilation can be treated as a story from beginning to end, starting with deep atmospheric psychedelia and gradually diving into more dynamic music, which is sure to keep the dancefloor moving.

Although he has been producing for just a short while, Parasect is now a well estabilished artist in the worldwide psychedelic trance sceen, playing every week end all around the world. He is going to release his fourth EP, FUTURA, on 25th of February with BomShankaMusic.
It will be, as always, completely different from the last and it will brings a new school concept, a modern and futuristic psychedelic trance music.
