Rachel Wallace is best known for 1992 song "Tell Me Why," which was co-produced and co-written by Wallace with Mark Williams and Matt Clayden (aka M&M).
Although she had other follow-up releases, "Why" remains her signature song. After her brief success as a solo artist, Wallace took some time out to return to school, gaining a university diploma in marketing and management and worked until May 1993 in the British Ministry Of Agriculture.
Rachel then relocated to Munich, Germany, where she opened a clothing shop until 1995 (which was very cool by the way, I often went shopping there with friends), when she returned to the music scene as a lead vocalist for the German group Garfield, only to once again take a break after the project to relocate to Miami, Florida before resuming her musical career again after her return to England. Since then, Wallace continued to work with other dance and electronica artists, mostly doing lead vocals on their recordings. In 2009 she teamed up with Spanish DJs Cuto and Melo to record "Do I Really Want You Back" and "Que Pasa," and with UK Drum 'n Bass artist MC Skibadee for "All of My Junglists."
She also tours with Stereo MCs as their background vocalist, and is married to lead singer Rob Birch

Time 2 Time (consisting of: Martin Recke, Stefan Grino, Udo Weiler) is a German dance act who produced some techno fun songs and trance tracks in the early 90s.
They are best known for their hits "Tanzpirator", "Omnibus", "10 kleine *****lein" (which ended up on the index because of the lyrics) and Moldau which transformed Friedrich Smetana's classical piece Moldau into a techno format.
In 2008 they released a digital remix album on Nosferatu records.

Legowelt (real name Danny Wolfers) is a Dutch electronic musician who describes his musical style as "a hybrid form of slam jack combined with deep Chicago house, romantic ghetto technofunk and EuroHorror Soundtrack." The majority of his work under the alias has been released on the Dutch label Bunker in addition to a number of compilation appearances, including the successful "Disco Rout" in 2002.

This track is actually from the wonderful year 1992, when trance monsters like this were not too common, so Kali-oha girl really stood out.
Nowadays, the kids seem to be going back to the early trance productions, at least they're going crazy.
Try this track at peak time if your audience is open-minded. You'll notice it after about 1 hour of playing time.

Do you remember the X-Mix series? In the late 90s it was a mix format of famous DJs and video artists. An electronic mix with video animation by Berlin based label !K7. This track is from the predecessor of the X-Mix series which was nicely called 3-Lux.
As a teenager, I always waited for the cool animation videos on MTV Partyzone, so I remembered the tracks and even the order of the songs.
"Sparkling Sun" was one of them that I revamped.
I played it more often and people actually throw their hands in the air

Since the 90s I have C2 Mixes partly not even rehearsed because I knew Carl Craig always delivers a bomb remix.

In the year 2598 a.D., the largest interplanetary collision between two planets probably took place. The impact shook the entire solar system. Strong energy fields caused the meltdown of almost all of our Earth's reactors. In the northern hemisphere, an area was created that survivors called the black zone. Human life seemed impossible here.

Welcome to the black zone - we're sending you into space.

Far away from any civilisation, however, a strange new lifeform emerged shortly afterwards. These creatures were able to camouflage themselves in such a way that no human eye, radar or even electronic measuring devices could detect them.
What was registered, however, was an incredible increase in the magnetic field around the area.
It was also difficult to explain why satellites and rocket debris from space kept crashing into the centre of the zone.

One morning, japanese scientists discovered a huge rocket in the centre of the zone that had probably been built from the space debris. At the same time, it was observed that thousands of people from the uncontaminated areas were running into the black zone like stargazers, apparently disappearing into the giant rocket. This modern Noah's Ark was launched on August 6th 2645, and brought at least part of humanity to paradise.

This track was a highlight on @djlinusmunich former label Exun, about 20 years ago. I loved playing this track and it always had a big popularity factor. After a long time I played it in a small club and found out that it still works well. The magical melody from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Sonata is timeless. That's why I'm giving you a remake that I've only changed slightly. Back then, DJ Linus gave me the record (Memory E.P.) as a new release in his old record store (Exun Record Shop) and said I should give it a try. Hardly anyone thought it would become one of his biggest club hits back then. Have fun trying it out. It's also great for open airs on a sunny afternoon.

One evening we had a small dinner and then a movie night with friends at home. Our families decided to watch "Mars Attacks" the funny movie with lots of "Ak-Ak-Ak" A few days later we did this funny nonsense track. At some point I tested it out at the Easy Tiger in Munich, which in my opinion has the best bass system in town. And I was amazed that people went crazy. After that I tried the track in a few other clubs, the same spectacle. It's amazing how funny ideas come about.

There are many memories attached to this track, as it is from a time when electronic music was still on the rise. What fascinated me was the use of "space" samples from star trek and the mellow "i love you" from Twin Peaks. (Shelly says to Bobby...) :-)
That's why I added the "UFO" sound sample from the English series UFO (S.H.A.D.O. Control). Maybe you have already recognized it.

This music was new at the time. The fairy-like sounds of a ballad glide magically through the halls, paired with woofer samples that were still accepted at the time. If you play it nowadays, the kids are taken with it, because they feel like healthy hardness. For the last 5 years or so, I sometimes find it hard to figure out what the new generation actually wants musically. Who feels the same way? I think it's time to usher in a new era of music and distance ourselves from social media. But that might be difficult.

Coldcut are an English electronic music duo composed of Matt Black and Jonathan More. Credited as pioneers for pop sampling in the 1980s,
Coldcut are also considered the first stars of UK electronic dance music due to their innovative style, which featured cut-up samples of hip-hop, soul, funk, spoken word and various other types of music, as well as video and multimedia. According to Spin, "in '87 Coldcut pioneered the British fad for 'DJ records'".

Coldcut's records first introduced the public to pop artists Yazz and Lisa Stansfield, through which these artists achieved pop chart success. In addition, Coldcut has remixed and created productions on tracks by the likes of Eric B & Rakim, James Brown, Queen Latifah, Eurythmics, INXS, Steve Reich, Blondie, The Fall, Pierre Henry, Nina Simone, Fog, Red Snapper, and BBC Radiophonic Workshop.

Beyond their work as a production duo, Coldcut are the founders of Ninja Tune, an independent record label in London, England (with a satellite office in Los Angeles & Berlin) with an overall emphasis on encouraging interactive technology and finding innovative uses of software. 
The label's first releases (the first four volumes of DJ Food - Jazz Brakes) were produced by Coldcut in the early 90s, and composed of instrumental hip-hop cuts that led the duo to help pioneer the trip hop genre, with artists such as Funki Porcini, The Herbaliser and DJ Vadim.

He enrolled in the Lyzeum No. 2, a college for gifted young musicians, as a pianist, in 1966. After completing his studies Cretu moved to the Academy Of Music in Frankfurt, where Professor Philipp Mohler began to take an interest in him. Having passed his final exams in 1978, Cretu immediately found work as a studio musician and arranger. Founder of Data Alpha Studio.
He married Sandra Ann Lauer in 1988, divorced in 2008.
