We're immensely proud to welcome Kompakt staple GUI
BORATTO back to the SPEICHER fold, this time teaming
up with much-respected DJ and producer RENATO
RATIER - also the mastermind behind legendary
Brazilian club D-Edge and its eponymous label
distributed by Kompakt. With both artists not being the
ones to shackle themselves within genres, it is an
exhilarating sight to find them collaborating on these
two bangers: bringing all the sonic refinement we've
seen in his current work for his own imprint D.O.C. or
his 2014 album masterpiece ABAPORU (KOMPAKT 312
CD 115), Gui's presence to crackling, propulsive cuts
TESLA and DRIVER is unmistakenly felt, but focusses
on a much more muscular approach to dance music - a
perfect fit for Renato's expanded floor expertise, making
this 12" an absolute no-brainer for any club pundit
interested in bringing the sweat to the party.

durften, ist Guis Präsenz im knisternden Treiben von TESLA
und DRIVER unverkennbar, doch konzentriert er sich hier
auf eine sehr viel muskulösere Spielart der Tanzmusik - der
perfekte Kontext zu Renatos erweiterter Tanzflur-Expertise.

I produce, mix and host a weekly radio program called BEATSCAPE: where creative minds meet up with dancing feet! Every week, I deliver a 3 hours of the hottest new releases. From deep-house to soulful, tech-house to deep-techno, dubstep to 4x4, ambient to IDM, post-dubstep to grime.
Currently broadcasted in France and Switzerland, my purpose is to educate a "mainstream audience" to what I consider to be "quality music", following my only moto: if I like it, I play it!
