Introducing Ghost Culture's exciting debut EP 'Mouth', which is about to blow you away with beautifully enveloping, soul-prodding electronica. Pristinely produced, a song shimmering with lucid analogue soul and wholly sexy, "Mouth" sits somewhere between Depeche Mode and Deetron. Glistening with water-drop wonder, each element sparkles as the mid tempo groove develops with liquid grace. Reflective vocals fall delicately over the mild acid bubbles, complementing every slinky, purring twist and turn. For added measure there's also an instrumental which showcases the track's more naked beauty. Backed by 'Red Smoke'.

Every musician has his technics when we have a lack of inspiration. Personally, I always thought that music comes from silence, so when I can't make any music, I find a quiet place, sit down, and wait for the music to come to me. I did that once, in my garden, and then those tiny bells appeared. When I heard it perfectly, I ran to my studio to write it down. It reminded me of a snowflake's purity by his sonority, and it's way to dance with the wind by his groove. "Flocon de Neige" was born… I hope you will like it !"

She seemed to enjoy the track and was very interested to music. So I asked her if she would like to sing on it and we had a lot of fun doing it. Making their first appearance on the label, Venezuelan deep house masters Sergio Munoz and Israel Sunshine aka Fur Coat are the next to release on the mighty Hot Creations. Title track ‘There’s No Time’ sees the darker side of the talented duo for an epic experience on the dance floor with deep growling basslines complemented with powerful electronic keys and dramatic builds. On the B-side Hot Creations favourite wAFF delivers a stellar and storming ‘Warehouse Remix’ picking up the pace with added vocals and percussion, packed with all the sonic energy we have come to expect from the young producer. Last up the Fur Coat duo deliver another golden original. ‘Together’ takes it deeper once again with a rumbling bassline and hypnotic synths and keys flowing through the layers to stimulate the senses.

Fur Coat previously remixed Russ Yallop’s ‘The Crossroads’ followed by their debut EP ‘Space Ballad’, featuring an unforgettable edit by TEED. However it would be their release ‘You and I’ featuring vocals from Cari Golden that would put the name Fur Coat on the map. At the end of 2012 they released their huge debut album ‘Mind Over Matter’ on Crosstown Rebels, with further ventures on labels such as Bpitch, Rebellion, Southern Fried Records, Noir, Get Physical and My Favorite Robot.

wAFF has rapidly gone strength to strength in the past few years after being taken under the wing of Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and Richy Ahmed. First coming to everyone’s attention with the huge ‘Jo Johnson’ EP, wAFF has gone on to acquire a heavy touring schedule and his more recent ‘Puke It Up’ EP released on the label only cemented his career in the industry further. Alongside his home label wAFF has also been releasing and remixing for labels such as Cocoon Recordings, Resonance Recordings and Rinse.

It's a new dawn...it's a new day... And so began our next chapter this past weekend in Phoenix, where we proudly introduced bassist Alana Rocklin to the STS9 massive on a magical night at McDowell Mountain Music Festival.  This show featured it all, from two debut tracks (New Dawn, New Day and World Go Round), to some classic STS9, all with a noticeable punch of renewed energy.  Thank you all so much for your support the past few months.  We promise we’re going to return the favor ten fold for many years to come.  See you all in Vail in a few weeks.

2014.03.28 - McDowell Mountain Music Festival - Phoenix, AZ

I discovered Frankie Knuckles through his music, one that was, gentle, lush with a subdued, understated power that rocked many a dancefloor.
I had the privilege to hear him once in the heyday of his legendary residency at Sound Factory Bar in New York. I was submerged, sonically and emotionally by the beauty of the music I heard that night. I remember very clearly saying to myself that this would be impossible to ever equal.
That was 20 years ago, and I never got to hear this magic combination again.

I got to meet Frankie a few times, and he was always like his music, gentle, humble,   yet naturally imposing

I've put together here some of my favorite music from him. So that his legacy can keep on inspiring other people.

Rest in peace, Frankie, may your music keep on moving people eternally

Sebastian Hartmann is considered one of the big innovators of contemporary German theatre, and asked Ring to contribute to this mammoth project, which was commissioned by the renowned German arts festival Ruhrfestspiele in Recklinghausen.
