Summertime is "BBQ Techno" time -  for the third season already, we present a summerly selection of open air guarantor out of our repertoire, tracks from upcoming releases, as well as several exclusives for your outdoor BBQ and dancing pleasure.

From the upcoming releases, we have selected one title from the next Holtoug release called "Noisy Nights". The original was released Denmark-exclusive on the small but fine label Fake Diamond. For our release, Holtoug has developed the more clubbish "Dizzy Days" version, which we will present on this sampler. On the single which will be released in early autumn, you will also find an outstanding Kollektiv Turmstrasse remix. 
With "End" we will showcase a very talented artist from Russia called Koett. His submission is an oldschoolish UK-Breatbeat-hommage which will destroy some dancefloors for sure. On top, we are happy to announce one title from Noraj Cue's first release on Connaisseur. This gifted fellow from the Netherlands, who has already provided a title for our Livingroom Techno 3 sampler, delivers  a Connaisseur blueprint track called "Burning Eyes". Deep, touching and full of wonderful melodies.

As exclusives, we kick off the compilation straight away with a lovely indie-electronic song by Raw Verse feat. C.Layne, one the projects of Marco Effe, who will also drop a release on Connaisseur later this year. The second exclusive is the tender "I Don't Want It" by the talented danish duo Mr. Leman & Thomas Dieckmann. Next up is Terje Saether feat. Mari N Petterson from Norway with a wonderful Pop-Techno lullaby called "Good Night". As a special exclusive we are more than happy to present one of the most requested tracks from the Michael Mayer's Resident Advisor podcast from earlier this year. Jobe's "Got Me" was only available on vinyl on a very limited UK pressing so far . On BBQ Techno 3 he will hit the digital market for the first time with this stand-out tune. To round up the selection, as a closing title we chose the stirring "Overflow" by another russian fellow called Freska, guaranteeing a massive goose flesh attack.

Roberto Clementi has firmly cemented himself in the Soma hall of fame. His debut album has been doing the damage as his signature meld of deep, trippy Techno & Electronics washes over the globe he is back with yet more of his top drawer production. Clementi toughens up this time with Lordpole that gently glides between the worlds of Dub & Techno. We are also happy to see a debut on Soma from one half of Edinburgh born techno outfit Forward Strategy Group, Patrick Walker.

Title track Lordpole is a typically chord driven, sub bass monster from Clementi. His perfectly crafted stabs are overlaid with just the perfect amount of reverb and delay to bring them to life, reminiscent of early Chain Reaction dub infectious melody. Roberto keeps the momentum going through pulsing kicks and razor sharp percussion

FSG’s Patrick Walker steps up next with his interpretation of Lorpole and keeps the vibe on the up and up! Clementi’s original is given a proper Techno workout by the Edinburgh native as he produces an all out stomp. The chords become more punishing and the percussion more subtle and a rocking kick drum destroys anything in its path. 

The EP is rounded off in perfect fashion as Roberto drops things down with the Dub Techno excursion of Didier. Tripped out synths and pads melt slowly around the track as pulsing sub bass round off the bottom end keeping a tightly produced deep Techno track in tow. Again, Clementi’s subtle use of percussion gives this a perfect late night or early morning vibe but this track is made by his expert use of effects on the synths. Swathes of reverb and delay produce perfect rhythmic elements in this understated EP closer 

Clementi never ceases to strive for perfection in his productions and balances his love of deep, organic music with more edgy Techno elements perfectly.

Vince Watson proudly presents preview's of his debut single on Josh Wink's Ovum Recordings. This release is a special one as it is the final act in Ovum's 20 year anniversary celebrations and is release no 250.

It will feature 2 beautifully laden deep techno tracks from Vince as well as a beatapella and a one off ambient mix.

The release also features a very special Josh Wink remix.

The single will be released on December 1st 2014.

Soma mainstay Deepchord returns with part 2 of the Luxury Series. This Double A release feature Deepchord’s signature atmosphere rich tones and lush environments and also mark a slight upturn in terms of pressing on a more Techno vibe.

Luxury 3 opens as spacious as can be as the dynamic Modell crafts otherworldly pads and haunting tones, driven by muted kicks and driving subs. His effective use of delay and reverb knows no bounds as he subtly shifts synth stabs and background noise through the dimensional barrier, creating rhythms so refined they defy the natural law. His usual percussive wizardry is at work here that, whilst vigorous, retains a light atmospheric feeling keeping fully in line with the melancholic tones of the track. Clocking in around 14minutes, this is Modell as his most immersive.

Luxury 4 has a distinct Detroit heart to it. Those almost instantly recognisable saw waves, moulded by layers upon layers of processing, swirls and evolve and Deepchord slowly works in various elements of the track to unparalleled levels. Fairly reminiscent of earlier, more stripped work, subtle percussion brings things to life fairly quickly as Modell allows the layers of ethereal synths and processing to blend and fuse naturally, creating a cohesive background to which the listener can easily spend hours listening to, every time finding ever so slight nuances to each cycle of the track.

Deepchord never fails to impress with every release and can easily change his style up from previous incarnations based in pure atmospherics to his own unique brand of legendary Dub Techno

Part of "Summer Particles 2014" in July 2014, the Polish duo of Deep Fog and Cream (PL) produced a moment of magic with "Kiki". Richly layered with driving rhythm, pulsating pads and searing lead line, the track was a highlight of an exceptional compilation. Alongside the original, "Kiki" now receives two further treatments from the UK and Netherlands' finest.

A journey through trance to progressive and deep house has seen UK based Anthony Yarranton mature as both DJ and producer. His work characterised by the fundamental principles of "deep vibrating bass lines, energetic grooves and subtle melodies", Yarranton's music has found its way on to some of the most discerning labels. From Armada and Baroque to Lowbit and Dopamine, his versatility has earned him the respect and support of the DJ elite including Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman and Nick Warren. A regular in the clubs of his home country, international appearances in Greece and at both John Digweed's Bedrock and Sasha's Last Night on Earth parties, have provided additional cachet.

A regular on Particles, Anthony Yarranton's rework of "Kiki" sees familiar deep rhythms married to a carefully placed stab that resonates throughout the track as hi-hat percussion brings body-shaking groove. Echoes of the original make their presence felt in a luscious breakdown, before immaculate rhythms are brought to the fore once more.

Dutch producer, Noraj Cue, has been submersed in music from a tender age as vinyl, piano and guitar played and important part in his family socialisation. Using all manner of electronic equipment and everyday utensils to satiate his musical desires, the rise of computer technology helped ease Noraj into the production scene. A half-century of production credits for fellow countryman, Paul Hazendonk's Manual Music, has paved the way for a rich and varied career as Lowbit, Balance and Tronic also feature on a high-profile list of imprints. 

2015 continues to provide multiple highlights including a remix of Logiztik Sounds, while a Proton Music career in collaboration with Paul Hazendonk has seen remixes of Silinder's and Scotty.A complimented by the original track, "Emergence". Now making his debut on Particles, the Noraj Cue remix of "Kiki" is a deft reworking of the original that blends the pulsating melodies of the original with a chunky rhythm section and immaculate additional production, creating a new motif with echoes of the original's bass pattern. The result is a clever interpretation of skill and ingenuity.

Smooth reworkings from Anthony Yarranton and Noraj Cue have ensured that Deep Fog and Cream (PL)'s "Kiki" is set to continue in full swing.

Highly regarded soundsmith ISOLÉE is well-known for his prowess when it comes to indie-infused, minimalist house with a catchy twist - just think of his timeless masterpiece "Beau Mot Plage" and its visionary blend of genres. His rework of the bass-laden, atmospheric WE MIX AT SIX is no different, steaming down the sophisticated textures of the original and soaking the resulting concentrate in a stirring bounce. Internationally acclaimed producer ULRICH SCHNAUSS has a similar knack for transcending electronica and brings his expertise in ethereal soundscapes to a surprisingly throbbing, pop-instilled, decidedly epic version of KRONSEE. There are few artists making seriously great music while not taking themselves too seriously; that difficult feat is one rarely attempted and even less often successfully carried out. Benoit & Sergio have seemingly effortlessly managed to pull off that contradictory trick, producing songs that sometimes seem like musical open letters: editorials narrated in the voices of unidentified, yet totally recognizable colorful characters, read aloud against a backdrop of beautifully lush, warm and sensuous electronic pop music. The unexpected juxtaposition of such pristine production and playful lyricism -- first exhibited on 2009's highly praised <i>What I've Lost</i> EP, which included the brilliantly sardonic single "Full Grown Man"  -- exemplifies why Benoit & Sergio are one of the most unique and interesting outfits in dance music. It's good news, then, that the Washington, D.C./Berlin-based outfit's eagerly expected DFA debut maintains both the charm and expert craftsmanship of its predecessors. 

Single "Boy Trouble" (the titular counterpoint to "Full Grown Man") launches the EP with all manner of reasons to take to the dancefloor: An exigent beat, a beckoning synthline, a bassline of understated funk. Sergio lethargically sings about girls, making note of both their ups and the downsides, without the hindrance of subtlety. "I love girls/With legs like a Ferrari" he states before noting (bemoaning?) the fact that "You need poetry to turn these girls on." It's a song for the best part of the night, full of compulsive rhythms and a climax that builds on sparkly synths. The accompanying remix from Visionquest -- the Detroit-bred, Berlin-based label led by producers Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtiss and Shaun Reeves -- amps things up, making the beat a more prominent, driving and club banging force. The flipside features "Full Grown Man" and "What I've Lost," which reveal themselves to be worth more than a few revisits. 

Benoit and Sergio Giorgini -- originally from Paris and Chicago, respectively -- have previously released music on producer Bruno Pronsato's thesongsays label and Ghostly International's Spectral Sound. Sergio also makes music as one half of both Birds & Souls and NDF.
