I've been trying to produce music from 2018.
It's not a long time, and I'm gaining experience with many of you.
I don't want to be a DJ, because I like to create and be creative with music.
I exclusively use MAC, Maschine, Jam Maschine, TD3 Beringer, and my keyboard is my little AKAI MPK.

Vincenzo Ferrara stagename Kompat, was born in Salerno in 18.11.1981, since he was very young he realise that his vocation was music until he made it his reason and passion for living. 
At the age of 11 he started to experiment and mix two different tracks on two stereo-tape recorders, purely as a game. In his teenager period he started to work for a local radio, and acquire a better knowledge of a wider range of underground and progressive music from the most important Italian DJs of that time. 
Since the radio experience all began make sense to Vincenzo that ran to buy his first records decks and a piles of vinyls, he started to train himself the deejaying art, and play at different local clubs and parties venues where he mainly mix house music. 
Gaining experience took him to a level where he needed to expand his music background, and in 2007 it took on an important project that will lead him to learn production techniques, on the same year he started to work on some of his own tracks as well. 
In 2009 he got his diploma in Electronic Music Production and right after that in 2010 he projected and builded his own control room. The constant research of the sounds, of the perfection of the technique and style, manly focus on techno music, made Vincenzo fully devoted and committed to the production of his music, spending the majority of his time in studio where often engage other young or emerging producers and artist from the surrounding area. Lately he collaborated with some important labels like Eclipse Recordings, Luminar Records, Kobayashi Recordings, Summa Cum Laude. He is also famous in the area  for his vinyl sets B2B, 4 decks and 2 mixers, with one of his best friends Bernadino D’auria aka DJ Balu’and they are now involved together in building up their own music label, producing pure techno music, stay tuned!!!
