‘Curry’s House with D.D.Curry’ is a 2-hour dance music program on Voices At Night that features exciting sounds and voices from the underground dance music community around the world. The London-via-Brooklyn host is a DJ, producer and co-owner of dance label Fortune Signal. This month, Curry’s House welcomes Aria Pash, the UK-born, Cyprus-raised DJ now based in Brooklyn. As co-founder of the Worlds Collide party collective and Potent Pussy events series, Aria brings her unique creative voice and passion for community building to the New York underground. 

In his host mix, Curry guides the listener on a journey through dubby techno, leftfield house, and broken beat, setting the tone for Aria Pash’s playfully eclectic guest mix that blends techno, house, acid, and more.

With this set, I wanted to create a cocoon within the chaos - a corner of intimacy and depth in a space that's usually busy, vast and overwhelming. While still very much a dance mix, I leaned into deeper sounds to carve out space for introspection while still leaving room for burst of communal joy on the dance floor.
