It was an amazing summer, we couldn't be happier to be back on stage and be able to perform our own music in front of happy crowds and friends again 👯‍♀️👯👯‍♂️

On October 8th, Treibsand was born, as we had the joy to host our own event at Beate Uwe, together with Fabian Krooss. We performed alongside amazing artists like Monkyman, Cioz, Yannek Maunz and Clara. It was very special to play in a Berlin club again after all this time 🐝 We're still buzzing from the amazing vibe!

Our new live set is the result of all the time we spent in our beloved studio in the past 1.5 years, flowing through our latest and upcoming releases from this year 🎶 The energy at Treibsand was really special, which we translated into our favorite live performance so far.

Kon Faber live @Watergate - August 2022

What a way to start the day! We had so much fun playing a DJ set at Heinz Hopper for a nice Sunday breakfast shift from 10am to 1:30pm, taking over from one of our favs Kasper Koman. Having no idea what to expect, we were blown away by the positive energy and played a very energetic set, playing around with lots of different directions. Enjoy the journey - we sure did  ❤️

Thanks to Caleesi & Sarah Kreis for inviting us, that was a really special party. Such fine and groovy music all day long with the sweetest people.

Breakfast with Kon Faber @ Kater Blau | Circles & Stones | Apr 2023

Here it finally is, the recording of our Liveset at Fusion at the beautiful and infamous Tanzwüste stage. All tracks are produced, mixed and mastered by Kon Faber, including a collaboration with Iorie.

The moment, when the first beat dropped, was an incredible release of energy from everyone who was there. And it did not stop until the last note. Playing at Fusion, at this floor, where we were standing so many hours as dancers, is such a beautiful gift. We could not be more grateful to have experienced this as Kon Faber on stage, sharing all the sounds we created and produced in our studio in Berlin. The preparation meant a lot of sweat and tears, with the last track produced just one week before but it was definitely worth it.

Moreover, this gig was so emotional because everyone around us has shown so much appreciation and love. So many of our friends came by, our friend and studio Jazz Saxophone player, Marius joined us on stage, and @pauli-pocket, @foolik were the most considerate and supportive Stage Managers.

Thanks to Südpol for envisioning us at Tanzwüste and making this possible.

Playing at Watergate never disappoints! There are not many places where the energy is so high right from the beginning, so we could kick off the night on a high note - and we loved playing a DJ set.

What an astonishing year lies behind us? So many fascinating and driving Traumcasts accompanied us throughout the times 💫

Now we’re closing the year with a very special treat for us all: Kon Faber (@kon-faber) contribute their Liveset from our 10 years anniversary at Renate, Berlin! The set is packed with original mixes and remixes by @madota, @fabiankrooss, @ladsmusique and @iorie.  🎶

Lets follow these two cuties on a 1.5 hour ride through their Kon Faber House. What’s that? you ask? It’s a pretty yummy combination of your favorite elements of house, deep house and Kon Faber Sync Bobbly Heads. 🫧

The groove is so sunny that it’ll melt away your winterblues while the vocals and synthesizers form a gluey cover of happy faces and vibrating hips. Carefully they rise the temperature of the floor till it hits just the sweetspot to roast our synapses in colorfull ecstasy till they release us wobbly as a rainbowy slinky.

🦩 What are your plans as Kon Faber for 2024?
Soo many plans! The year will be kicked off with our tour in Australia / New Zealand in February and followed by our first EP on A Tribe Called Kotori in March, which we are super excited about. Also, our first Konverge party is this Saturday, 16.12., and we expect more of that in 2024. Also, we've got a lot of collabs lined up with e.g. LADS, Madota, Javid, our dear Frida Darko & Atric, and more. Can. not. wait.

🦩 What's the best piece of advice you've ever received, and how has it influenced your life?
Travelling is the best teacher in life. My mom has taught me (Bene) how important it is to stay curious and open-minded, and has taught me to see the world. I couldn't imagine who I would be without having met different cultures all across the world, and having learned how to change perspective on people, things, everything.
Nils: My parents simply showed me how much beauty there is in music and it completely influenced the trajectory of my life.

1 year ago, we were standing at Bucht der Träumer and were actually dreaming (no pun intended) about playing at SAGA stage next year.

This dream came true with a bang: We could play Friday midnight - and we were sooo blown away by this humbling experience! First of all the crew made us feel so welcome and did a tremendous job working day and night to create a space that allows everyone to feel free and energized.

Second, we were blown away by the absolute bonkers energy from the crowd that were digging the new Kon Faber sound. In a moment of reflection, Nils was literally crying during our set because of the beautiful reactions and vibe that surrounded us for these 1.5 hours.

To be really honest, we were struggling a bit over the past months. We felt like we are going in the wrong direction and lost our musical core a little bit. We felt uninspired. But then we decided to not worry too much about playing a particular consistent sound but just create what feels real and truly like Kon Faber. That’s why this set has become a bouquet of genres, including live vocals and rap (going back to the roots!) that feels truly meaningful and fun.

We are so glad that this music resonated with you and that you give us the appreciation that makes us feel safe to continue this path. Thank you from the bottom of our heart!

Thank you Johannes and Ulaş for inviting and making this possible for us. Thanks legend Jefferey @dolphin_therapy for joining us on stage, singing the live vocals for the closing track. Also big thanks to Kerstin (Waina Art) for the beautiful dance performance!

Berlin-based duo Thea & Schtu present Mond, their debut EP on Heimlich Musik. Known for their captivating live sets across European festivals, the pair translate the energy of their performances into two original tracks that balance deep grooves, playful melodies, and hypnotic atmospheres.

The title track Mond glides through lush pads and shimmering synth textures, carried by a warm, rolling bassline that invites both movement and introspection. Köln follows with a slightly darker edge, layering percussive details and drifting chords into a steady, late-night journey.
