Kon Kan is a Canadian synthpop project conceived and formed in 1988 by Barry Harris in Toronto, Canada. His first effort "I Beg Your Pardon" went top 15 in the U.S. and Top 10 around the world. Kon Kan was awarded a 1990 Juno for the song "I Beg Your Pardon".
1997-2003 Barry Harris moved to Los Angeles & co created Thunderpuss who did more than 100 remixes/productions including Madonna, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Donna Summer, Janet Jackson, to name a few. The Thunderpuss mix of Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right, But It's Ok" was a top 10 World-wide hit. 2013 Harris rerecorded "I Beg Your Pardon 2K14" - Barry Harris Presents Kon Kan. 2016 he signed on as sole administrator of Kon Kan's Spotify Artists Page & 2018 signed on as sole administrator Kon Kan's Apple Music artists page.  2020 he reissued & released Kon Kan's VIDA! LP digitally around the world with previously unreleased bonus remixes.  2023 has now seen new music by Barry with Kon Kan's new singles "Stars" and "Sinful Wishes (Moonlight Mix) ft. Kimberley Wetmore! Lots more new Kon Kan music and live performances to come!!
