Beginning Anew

To begin anew is to look deeply and honestly at ourselves, our past actions, speech and thoughts and to create a fresh beginning within ourselves and in our relationships with others. When a difficulty arises in our relationships and one of us feels resentment or hurt, we know it is time to Begin Anew. The practice of Beginning Anew helps us develop our kind speech and compassionate listening. Begin Anew is a practice of recognition and appreciation of the positive elements for the people within our community. Recognizing others positive traits allows us to see our own good qualities as well.
The health and happiness of the whole community depends on the harmony, peace and joy that exists between every member.

Having moved to Berlin, this is kind of the Beginning of Anew for me. Inspired by the tracks that have been guiding me since I arrived, I put together this melodic, melancholic mix with some summer vibes here and there. Living in sunny Limassol in little Mediteranean island Cyprus, he's a sensitive collector and teller of stories chasing choices that cluster to form a musical voyage designed to mark the ears. 

This 175th edition invites you to join his magic carpet and get lost in the ride. Always in the mood to turn emotion-filled sounds into satisfying pleasure, the Cypriot DJ recorded live the 95-min mixtape in his elementary studio within the first week of Cyprus' lockdown. The outcome is a cinematic story seasoned with some twists of mysterious sounds and vocals, by blending tracks that were resting in his hidden gems folder for a while with some neat recent discoveries.
