Super stoked to have found this and my Art Valley sets stashed in my Traktor Recordings folder on my cloud backup this week! I thought I'd lost them.

I was so chuffed for Butterz' offer for me to hold space at Love Camp on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, Elements had a 'no renegade' policy outside of fixed hours, and so that set was shut down shortly after kick-off. It all ultimately worked out; It meant I got to catch all of Jackson's set on main stage (which thoroughly rocked) and the Lovecamp takeover of mainy immediately after was one for the ages.

THIS set was earlier in the weekend; a quiet cruisy ~90 mins at camp before mainstage opened, from the comfort of a low camp chair with a JBL boombox, a lappy/faderfox combo, and a lovely gin and soda with extra lemon.

Thank you Brooke and the Conscious Nest Fam for having me! I can't wait to drop in with the SEQ fam again ASAP.

What can I say. Dune 2069 was an absolutely extraordinary party. I'm so stoked that so many of the gatherings on my calendar are jam packed full of my favourite people, but Dune took that tradition to a whole other level, with every single one of the collaborators being either dear friends and/or inspirational community members.

Perhaps most extraordinary was the fact this was our exquisite host's FIRST TIME running a festival! The space exuded smooth, high vibes the entire week. I left, sad to go, but grateful for the abundant nourishment and inspiration.

Getting to drop in to help build the festival the week leading up to launch was a privilege and a pleasure. I'm honored to have been a part of the build team AND to have helped warm up the amazing, star studded stage.

Thank you Juliette and Yoeri. Love you both and the magic you weave. Cheers for bringing us all together.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to include my B2B session with Francesco that immediately followed this set. I tried to salvage that part of the set but wasn't able to get the gain staging right. Cheers for the spontaneous collaborative takeover Brother! Also big love to Steve and Emi for once again bringing the purring MMM rig. I'm always honored to play on this system.

Played my set at Backyardfloor on a massive Void Soundsystem, which was creme de la creme for the braincells and ears hehe! Had so much fun playing a transition between night and day after legendary Val Vashar's banger set. Thanks to everyone who danced with me into the sunrise and for all your support! <3

Art Valley 2023 - Konedawg's Saturday Morning Sesh

Art Valley has, in no time at all, shot straight to the top of my list of favourite festivals. The space, lineup, community, decor and sheer stoke are all exemplary. While there are definite movers and shakers that make a chunk of the magic happen, it really feels like every single person in the space came together to cultivate the flow and love and that made it so special.

I've been high on life ever since Art Valley, and it seems everyone I speak to about this party agrees. It's an honour and a privilege to be a part of this community and to be invited to play.

Thank you so much to everyone that came out to my set on Saturday morning. I'm so excited for the high vibes everyone brought, especially after everyone also stayed up late to catch Maxi close the stage on Friday evening/Saturday morning. 

Big love to The Professor and Doppel; stoked to be nestled in between you both on Saturday's flow.

Hey Fams! I'm stoked to be sharing my Friday afternoon Air Stage Set from Dragon Dreaming 2023.

Being invited to share some tunes in an official capacity at Dragon was a real dream come true. Dragon has been an integral part of my doofing/festival community journey for close to 10 years, and I truly adore this festival and its extraordinary clique of phenomenal beings. Getting to groove on down with so many of you on Friday was fucking awesome! Count me in again some time!

Hey Fams,

Here's my Saturday Midday set from Zenith Gathering Nov 2023!

I went into this weekend pretty knackered and hadn't taken the time to envision what sort of experience I'd like to have. Zenith wasn't without its challenges, but the extraordinary efforts of many of the core movers and shakers in the community came together to pull off some awesome stuff. Mad props to James for bringing us artists together, Jemima for looking after us, Steph for managing the Vortex stage like a boss, everyone in engineering (lights and sounds were top notch!) and all the wicked DJs, producers, performers and friends I got to hang out with. It was really nice to let my hair down a little on the Saturday after my set and to catch so many wicked musos killin' it as usual.

Flubbed the first mix after I went to use my cues and discovered quantise was off that's what I get for forgetting to do my pre-flight checks of the gear). Have re-recorded it a little tidier.

An honor and a pleasure as always to play tunes on a Sickest House/Soul Shack bill. Thank you everyone for coming out and getting sweaty up at the rooftop bar. Admittedly I hadn't considered that the sound system there might be humble, but you all convinced me to rinse the heavier set I'd prepared anyway, and I'm glad I did.

It was fun experimenting more with mixing some of my fav 140-150 bpm techno with a bunch of my fav dubstep and bassmusic tunes. I'm pleased how this one came together.

Astral Carnivale Sydney 2024 (Sickest House & Soul Shack) Konedawg's Dubstep to Techno Rooftop Set

POLOS's name derives from the Greek word ‘Apostolos’, meaning messenger. His musical oeuvre transcends genres, skillfully fusing the resonant basslines of dubstep and drum and bass with the rhythmic cadences of reggae, hip hop, jazz, blues, and middle Eastern and Latin influences. 

Hailing from Eora (Sydney AU) POLOS's music is deeply psychedelic, inviting listeners on a journey through his mind, into jungles, deserts, cities, and distant worlds, showcasing the full spectrum of the human experience, from our most primal urges to the drive for self-actualisation. 

He's played events such as Art Valley's Kibbutz, Origins of Entropy Fundraiser, Cabin Fever Halloween 2022, Sickest House Arts Festival (Halloween 2023), Astral Carnivalé, Blue Kalyx Presents: Royalston, Glowfest 2023, Smokin' Soul, Bass Coven, Esoteric Festival and various Soul Shack gatherings. Additionally, he showcased his talent with a guest mix on Mindproofing YT Channel.

Kinimal @ Synergy Festival 2023

Started this year setting an intention to put more time and energy into exploring creatively, and give DJing a proper crack and so super stoked to have had Esoteric Festival as a playground for those explorations!

Was invited to play some tunes at an awesome up and coming theme camp, the Magic Mothership. Performed this set on a dusty Sunday Arvo, hoping to offer some laidback daytime techno as a soundtrack for the Mothership's cosmic travellers to dust off their bones after Saturday night's adventures in the Esoverse and wind back into the day. Grateful for a supportive and caring crew, and for the folks who stopped by for a mid arvo boogie. 

I've loved diving deep on music and understanding energetic flow, and definitely still learning n growing -- but am excited for the process and keen to put my energy into this journey.
