ELEMENTS was EPIC! From Designing & Building our stage & running Love Camp with our courageous team to ending up having the best set of my life on Tribal Council in front of thousands of people and everything in between, it's hard to describe how i'm feeling right now! So much love for the Elements team and their ongoing support for our endeavours and crazy ideas and actually making them a reality. It was a wild few weeks and i'm still vibrating highly, even with all the craziness thats happening right now! 
Love Camp was again given the opportunity to host the closing party on Main Stage and i'm extremely lucky to have been able to kick off the absolute seshion after closing ceremony on this outrageous stage followed on by my closest mates and Open Records team Christopher Brooks, Wilma, Jesse Kuch & Boy with Boat, all while being cheered on by Trent, David, Sonja & my Love Camp mum and dad Leo & Jade (oh and the Geri Giraffes's) who had the Sub Rosa Couch carried on stage for a front row seat was absolutely paramount. Just quietly I HAD THE BEST FUCKIN' TIME EVER all weekend so i hope you enjoy listening to it as much as i enjoyed playing it. Woop!

As news of a devastating natural disaster spread like wildfire across media outlets and local communities, DJ Scomo leapt into action!

Without hesitation, our hero hastily boarded the first flight for The Town to soak up some vibes and wash his hands of this whole ungodly mess while the sultry summer sun and cool river stream cleansed him of both sin and responsibility.

However, this brief respite was cut short when he was informed of an open slot on the main stage on Friday night, and he couldn't pass up the opportunity to disgrace himself in front of an angry mob and maybe even shake a few hands along the way.

What a blast.

I've recently dove back into the world of full time work. KoneDaddy gotta pay the bills! I was uncertain about how 45 hours out of my week would impact my capacity to continue my creative pursuits. That coupled with living 300km's from Sydney has certainly kept me on my toes, gig-wise.

Some of my recent shows have been a whirlwind. Psyheads was absolutely no exception. I'd barely stopped to take a breath the entire fortnight leading up to the event, right up until the exact moment of stepping behind the decks 5am Saturday morning. In these moments I'm grateful for my meticulous approach to metadata and organising my music, and for beautiful shiny CDJ3000s, which are an absolute delight to play on (and perfectly support my workflow!).

That said, my gratitude for the tech pales in comparison to the profound appreciation I feel for you, my friends, supporters, family and audience. The energy at The Bridge at 5am Saturday morning was electric. Everyone there worked hard to keep partying late, and really brought the magic. I'm honored for the opportunity to throw down 60 minutes of pure phatness (with the occasional groovy chill interlude!) with you all.

I'm stoked with how this set came together. It's a really exciting time for Bass Music. Looking forward to sharing another dancefloor with you all ASAP.

Chillin' on a Bass Island

I was so psyched to be back out on the Paddock at Matong for Burning Seed. I've been pretty head down ass up with work, and as much as I'd have loved to have relived past Burn experiences by arriving as early as possible for set up and as late as possible for pack down, this time around I blew in and out just for the weekend. I had spent some time prepping some music, but hadn't had the time to foster many connections with theme camps, and wasn't sure just how many last minute opportunities to share some beats would present themselves. Thankfully, within an hour of me hitting the paddock, dosing up and dropping in, Maxi and Geoffrey delivered some awesome news. In the middle of the packed Sacred Hearts DF on Saturday sunset, they casually dropped that they were rocking a bass music takeover at Sickest House at dawn, and that I was invited to join.

Sickest House is just that- the sickest house on the paddock. I wandered in that morning and immediately felt the welcoming warmth and excellent taste of it's crew. I'm so grateful and honored to play for this space. I had such an amazing time and won't be forgetting that morning any time soon.
