The Name Sons Of The Loving comes from the Irish Name 
(Mac) - meaning "son of" and (Cárthaigh) - meaning "Loving" 
The Mac Cárthiagh Clan was one of the largest in the south of Ireland, ruling over all of Munster in the middle ages and was the last monarch of Munster.

As of today the Mac Cárthiagh name is still one of the most common names in the south of Ireland, although it is now anglicised to McCarthy and also a few other variations.
The clan have spread across the world over.

Sons Of The Loving began in 2022.
Starting with nothing more than a concept of wanting to combine heavy rock music with dark tones and synths. As you can hear on the first concept album Journey Of The Soul.

Progressing on from this release the sound has shifted while keeping the same idea but now adding a bit of Irish (Celticness) to it.
