Matthew Charles - Who What Where? (Original)[PREVIEW]

Emanuel Satie returns once again with his energetic brand of house music for his third EP on Get Physical following last years ‘Gold EP’ and ‘Private Show EP’ earlier this year. The three-track EP titled ‘Free At Last’ showcases the young Germans talent for groove. Leading the EP, ‘Free’ relies on deep acid-y lines supported by itchy percussion. He’s draped a dramatic vocal over the top to give it a special organic and house-y touch. ‘Bottoms Up’ rides the energy wave further utilizing chopped and looped vocals to great effect. Underneath that we find a smooth sub bass line flexing its muscles beautifully. Finally ‘On Repeat’ bears a wildly organic and almost jungle vibe that is sure tokeep even the most challenging of dance floors at fever pitch. The almost tribal percussions temporarily give way soft and enchanting chords before letting the rhythm back in. All in all another striking EP from Emanuel Satie, proving he’s a special talent and one to watch.

Adam Beyer supplies a new Truesoul release that connects with his more funky, tech-house side of his person. The use of Beyer’s melodies and chunky drums makes each track stand out. The crowd moving rhythms that Beyer commands will move any crowd and turn the crowd inside out. The electrifying hooks show Beyer’s production talents at their best and with the addition of a tremendous Tiger Stripes remix of Time flies, the package is complete.

Having driven us down the Sonic Highway alongside Joris Voorn earlier this year, young Dutch sensation Joran van Pol is returning to Rejected with with his very own solo release - EXIST.

Having built a strong and rapid reputation from creating a miriad of minimal moments over recent months, Joran furthers these foundations with his new three track release. The groovy-heavy sci-fi sounds of the title track have already become a firm favourite for Voorn, featuring in his recent Fabric Mix, and now the spooky knocking of Exist is ready for all.

The sinister breaths and cavernous echoes of Eventuate follow. Its growling bassline somehow paling against the brightness of its trippy noises. Final cut Withdraw finds us once again in the immense spacial vault of van Pol as he seemingly bounces a balistic beat ball against a barricade. Dark, menacing and impressive.
