There have been a number of requests from people for me to post on Soundcloud a mix of the songs I play at Ecstatic Dance sessions. Here it comes A limitless journey of sonic exploration is provided by this eclectic mix of sounds from all over the world.
Normally in my live there are my synths and my voice to accompany the continuous set. But in this case here they was not recorded .

Wonderful Ecstatic Dance with beautiful and powerful dancers at the 2nd Ecstatic Day in Stuttgart.

After a heart opening Cacao Ceremony, a healing Breathwork session and a strenghtening Yoga Class it was a wonderful ending of our heart touching Ecstatic Day. 

The Set was really Ecstatic for me and I totally enjoyed to sweat and dance with all of you.

ABOUT Barbarella:

Barbarella is a DJ and producer from Dresden / Germany. As music has always been an important part of her life, she was testing and collecting really different styles, before she finally found her home in deep,  melodic and bassy sounds from all over the globe, somewhere between tradition and modernity. The major influence on her musical creation emerges from the Spanish-speaking parts of the world, with a special dedication and love for Cumbia, as you can hear in her sets and productions. Barbarella is also a member of the duo "Pauken & Trompeten", organizing parties in her hometown and hosting a podcast series.

Gato Preto was made, along with others, in a moment of inspiration and as an expression to what mandruvá is feeling with the political and social context of his country (Brazil), which is getting more difficult.

The name "Gato Preto" (black cat) symbolizes some sounds that he put on the track and mock the "bad luck" that they bring, where he despises this statement, thus being a darker sound, as a way to "haunt" those who think so...


mandruvá is one of the two minds that make up the multicultural project Pérola Branca (@perolabranca).
