Basspistol is a laboratory for Quality Control in Modern Dance Music, specializing in a genre commonly referred to as "GoodMusic". It is a databass for base-shaking Artists. It is a temple for the new generation of groove elite and swing masters, the kick'n'base generation. 

As opposed to traditional Record-Labels, we operate like a syndicate of independent musicians, providing an auto-sufficient infrastructure, built with free and open source tools.

Nano-Mechanic aka Sérgio Oliveira is from Lisbon, Portugal. Music has always been a pashion in his life and so came the wish to make something out if his ideas. Started as DJ at private parties with friends, specially DJ Hynka, influenced by psy and progressive trance. Along with these influences, as time went by, other styles got his attention, mainly electro-house, progressive house and minimalistic/techno elements, always keeping in mind the progressive view of the dance music. Experience and knowledge obtained with other producers (such as Diogo Ribeiro from 24Hours Records) alowed him to merge all these influences and styles to a unique mixed blend. In 2007 following the interest of Vancouver based label Progressive Grooves, the first release came out with Fragment EP, reaching the Beatport Progressive House Top 20, along with Mikas Break remix charted nr. 1 by Spector Selector and reaching Top 30 on Beatport Breakbeats. Several EP's were released at Progressive Grooves and in 2008 the first track was release on acclaimed DJ Pena's label Flow Records, followed by a remix for Echotek Supa Dupa EP. Since then he's been busy making new originals and remixes for labels like Flow Records, Progressive Grooves, 24 Hours Records, Mikelabella Records, Fraud Recordings and West One Recordings. I'm Tintin, also known as Martin Blom and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I love to blend minmal techno and tech house in a twisted and punky way.
