Over the course of two months, a lot of work was done in collaboration with talented musicians from all over the world. Each of them made their own unique contribution to the creation of this unique compilation and, therefore, to the development of rave culture. This compilation will be a real find for all fans or those who want to immerse themselves in the world of electronic music and rave culture.

Kassören - a newbie from the deep woods of the north. Got into electronic music via the Trance and Hardtrance of Copenhagen and Malmö and is currently experimenting with the bouncier side of electronic music.

"With this podcast I wanted to challenge myself by combining the bounce of groove with the melodics of techno."

Interview with Kassören:

Q: What made you start DJing?
A: I grew tired of the old sound of underground electronics in Malmö and wanted to speed it up a notch. I had an urge to play the  90’s synths and melodies of hardtrance but grew in love with techno of all sorts.  

Q: Describe your style in three words.
A: Fastpace, synth and bouncy-as-fuck. 

Q: Your best set in 2023?
A: NGBG Festival for sure. 

Q: Your favorite track right now?
A: Neagles - Oldschool rave, and Chang It Up by Lenny Dee, Chris Liberator & Tiddles.

MONOTAPE is a pet project of Konstantin Bazeyev. While living in Izhevsk (Russia) and making experiments with musical instruments since early 90-s. Certainly, the artistic legacy of Izhevsk music bands, which were trying a great deal of different musical forms of independent style, has identified the vector of project development. The first tracks were created under the impression from electronic music of the 90-s.Presently MONOTAPE does not follow just one style and accents an actual contemporary sound in electronic music.

За проектом MONOTAPE стоит Константин Базеев. Проживая в г. Ижевск до середины 2000-ых и экспериментируя с музыкальными инструментами с начала 90-х годов MONOTAPE пробовал себя в разных музыкальных форматах. Несомненно, творческое наследие музыкальных коллективов Ижевска, которые повлияли на многих в различных формах музыки independent, обозначили вектор развития проекта. Первые треки родились под впечатлением от электронной музыки 90-х годов. В данный момент MONOTAPE в своем творчестве исповедует не один стиль и делает акцент на актуальный современный саунд в электронной музыке.
