With Konstrukt 016 we dive deep into the electronic music mind of Shoal. The first three tracks are excerpts from the live show MONOLITH at MACA (Moving Arts Centre Amsterdam), performed by visual-artist Vincent Rang and Shoal. MONOLITH is an experimental installation in which chemical processes create organic and eternally morphing landscapes and life-like creatures. These reactions are being created and projected live onto a large screen, and are accompanied by a musical composition (or live performance). The musical journey was a live interpretation of the eternal morphing landscapes. The final track Utopian Dream extends this concept of eternalness into a deep chopped up drum and bass track complementing the intensely beautifull atmosphere of the first 3 tracks.

Tobias., Neel and Sebastian Muellaert as Wa Wu We collaborate with the Konstrukt label for their 12th release. Each producer with a unique and refreshing approach towards electronic music. 

Tobias. is up first with a beautiful track that balances on the border of rationality and emotion. His abstract sonic narrative discloses through tightly organized rhythms and noisy percussion. Neel follows up with a cinematic composition that submerges us into otherworldly oddities that guides us slowly through his composition. WaWuWe’s formally known as Sebastian Mullaert relieves the tension. The Swedish composer made a 13-minute long stirring and relaxing B-side track, blessing us with soothing energy for the mind, body and soul.
