With both members at the tender age of 21, they have made huge contributions to the Dallas music scene. Da'LLas G'(pronounced Da Last G) and Yung Brown are cousins and have been rapping together since the early age of 11.  Along with three other members they formed "Platinum Mind$". "Platinum Mind$" was created by a group of friends who aspired to create a more marketable name for themselves rather than a clique or gangs name.  Platinum Mind$ has also had the opportunity to intern at 97.9 The Beat, and work their way up the latter to a job as on- air personalities at the cities most popular radio station shortly after graduating from high school in 2009.  Since working at 97.9 The Beat, Platinum Minds has dedicated their time and spent hours on top of hours in the studio enslaving themselves to their own perpetual hunger for success.  Recently releasing their first mix tape of 2012 these guys show no sign of slowing down.
