<p>Since 2010 Kasbah Zoo&#8217;s music has gathered support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Marco Carola and many more. Today the Italian duo team up with fellow producer and close friend OniWax to present a debut triple-header on Nicole Moudaber&#8217;s MOOD imprint. </p>

<p>Opening cut SelFish is built around the strong backbone of its bass-fuelled groove. The percussive party-starter belies its name as it just keeps on giving. On the flip Kasbah Zoo and OniWax take things much deeper with the brilliantly moody New Era. Powered by the marching thump of the kick drum, hazing horns and commanding vocal, New Era is set to soundtrack the darkest of basements to the biggest arenas, all summer long. Rounding out the release are continuing the groove with the vocal drops and bubbling bass is Somebody.</p>

This was my first Fusion Festival, popped my Fusion cherrrrry!!! 

I arrived just before my set , they took me to the stage in a car covered in graffiti that looked like it was taken out of the garbage dump, but blended in perfectly with the surroundings, and had an extra roar that gave it its character when the dreadlocked driver pushed on the gas. I found labels and trinkets in the car from many years ago.   Totally added to the experience. 

Arrived to Kerala Dust playing live, and thousands of people in front of me. 

What i loved about this stage, is that it was just about 10 inches off the ground , so still had that intimate connection to the crowd.  Thats something I struggle with sometimes at festivals, being high up on a stage and the distance between the crowd with those metal barriers disconnecting us. 

The actual set felt electric, the vibes were fresh, and they were high, so i fed on that fresh energy and we danced till sunset.  I even got a polaroid from a lady **if you know who you are ** say hi -----     that said hero on it.   

super touching experience, was soooo short and sweet. 

ill never forget my experience with Floyd Lavine, who i got to hang out with for an hour.  he came to my set at the beginnning and was total fan boy, totally unexpected.   afterwards i ran into him in the artist grounds, and we hung out danacing and talking with his gf and his friends somehow the conversation turned to politics, and it got heated.   not that i know anything about politics, :)

We are incredibly excited to welcome the fantastic sounds of Cortese to the extended STPT family. Having followed their process closely over the last few months, we were quickly on to them with an invite into the introducing set-up, with which we love nothing more than bringing Brighton based acts forward. This debut from them is a great example of what we can expect in the future as they unveil 'Marble Arch', a subtle UKG roller packed with explosive subby energy and jittery 2-steppy rhythms. This is what Cortese is all about and we couldn't be happier to have them on board!
