It all started in Detroit thru a chance encounter with a gospel studio musician 
 prompted an invitation to BARAK RECORDS and worked as head engineer, studio musician and co produced toured and recorded tracks for Slum Village, 
J Dilla, Phat Kat and Dwele. 

Along with credits with Slum Village producing and engineering the 2002 Capital Records release (Trinity past present and future) Billboard hit Tainted and Disco featured on the Dave Chappell show (Comedy Central) and currently
The Phantashihen Vier ‘REKORD’ (Sony records). 

Today Vernon is completing his most adventurous project entitled (Generations) with artist from all over the globe and continues producing projects for other artists such as Paul Randolph (Jazzanova) Mike Michaels (Supersonic) Joel Holmes, Melli P  and J.Lamotta in addition to collaborations with Koma Electronics in Berlin presenting beat composing & synth workshops.

Koothu ஒலி producteur français, façonne une musique aux textures organiques et aux grooves enveloppants, où la profondeur des basses rencontre la finesse des sons électroniques. Son univers navigue soul, hiphop et électro, tissant des ambiances à la fois intimes et immersives.

En 2023, il collabore avec le groupe britannique Foreign Beggars sur le titre FCUK GENE SIMMONS, cette expérience le conduit à rejoindre 4NCY, le label fondé par le rappeur PAV4N, pour la sortie de son premier album iNDiATMOSPHERE.

Sur scène, Koothu propose un DJ set hybride, qu’il enrichit de textures et de lignes de basse jouées au Moog ou vocoder. Il mêle ses productions à ses sélections du moment, offrant ainsi un voyage sonore où la chaleur de la soul se marie à la modernité de la musique électronique.
