Born and raised in Alentejo, in a small town in the interior of Portugal, João a.k.a. BirdZzie (@birdzzie) is the musical producer and DJ who is living in Lisboa after almost a decade of immigration in Brasil. BirdZzie grew up immersed in a musical environment that included the radio, records and cassettes. Amateur radio broadcaster and selector from an early age, began his activities as a professional DJ in 2008, travelling between a huge miscellanea of musical styles, confirming his passion for the music itself and everything related to that; melody, rhythm, noise are the things that really move him.

Our 130th edition is a live recording from a special moment, it's BridZzie's returning to the city of Porto after 10 years of absence, where he had the opportunity to play with the amazing couple Ohxalá in their party 'Banho Maria'at Maus Hábitos, reuniting very old and great friends. Strongly influenced by the chants and rhythms of regional and traditional cultures, starting out nice and slow, and rising to intense levels, BirdZzie is capturing the audience on a trip through carefully selected sounds.

The colorful range of her always well-picked sound selection gave her entrance to the most wanted festivals of Europe. So you might have already danced to her vibes at Fusion Festival, Boom, Sa Terza Metari, Wilde Möhre, Pan-O-Rama or Agni Spirit Festival to just name a few. 

Our dear friend and amazing artist Radka Tiarksova is providing us another time a stunningly beautiful piece of visionairy art of Radka Soulart for our beloved cover art-podcast-ensemble. We're more than thankful and happy to have this special collaboration and to have the possibilty to share with all of you her unique art which is as lively, colorful & profound as the life we call reality.
